This is a pretty good place to take the family for barbecue. It is clean, the employees are engaging and the portions are good. Two sides are included when you order a plate meal and most of the sides are self serve so you can load up if your starving. You can also order fried okra for an extra charge. There are waitresses that will bring fresh hot baked bread to your table and you can order cobbler and ice cream if you have a sweet tooth and still have room. I can also recommend the ribs. Is this the best barbecue I have ever tasted? No. Is it a solid choice for barbecue in a family friendly environment? Absolutely! One other observation, they do a good job hiring, training and focusing local high school students. I can recommend this restaurant and I will return again.

Disappointed- ordered a 2 piece plate- chopped brisket & ribs. At Soulman or Dickies the chopped brisket is chopped in front of you - freshâ however here. The chopped brisket is dipped out of a âsat there all dayâcrockpot. Which would be OK for sandwiches, but to pay premium price for a plate I want fresh chopped brisket - Never again .

Welcome to The Catch! We are a fast-casual seafood restaurant located in Burleson, Texas. We've got many great New Orleans style favorites including our famous gumbo, boiled crawfish, oysters, fried fish, fried shrimp, etouffee, red beans, grits, hush pup
really enjoyed the fish and shrimp, but we felt it was a bit overpriced. The shrimp did not have a lot of flavor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was over $20 for two for lunch.

My wife and I love having breakfast and lunch at this great family restaurant. We both ordered the grilled catfish with grilled vegetables off the senior menu. The catfish was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were excellent. The price was very reasonable. The service was very frequently and prompt. Will definitely be going back.

Cotton Patch Cafe is a Texas-inspired, home-style restaurant serving Southern classics. Famous for its Chicken Fried Steak, Crispy Fried Catfish and other specials like the King Ranch Chicken Casserole, and homemade Chicken and Dumplings. Don't forget abo
We ate here on a very busy Sunday in the early afternoon. We had chicken fried steak and fish and chips. Both were very good and tasted as expected. This is a great place to have country style southern food, We will definitely go back. The service was excellent.

I have had the chicken fried steak in the past here and it was excellent. I went back for the first time in a few months the other night and had it again but this time I was disappointed. It was much thinner than before, and the breading just tasted like uncooked flour. That's about all I could taste - the breading that didn't seem to have any seasoning it it. I am guessing they have switched to frozen pre-breaded steaks and just drop them in the deep fryer now. That may have been what it was the previous time I had one but I remember that one being good and this one was more of what I would expect at someplace like a Grandy's or other fast food. The beer was nice and cold and the service was great. I still like this place but will probably stick to the burgers and BBQ in the future.

Babes is a special place. The menu is limited to fried chicken, chicken strips, and chicken fried steak. These all come with a great salad, rolls, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Food taste and quality was excellent. You had better bring your appetite! Service was great. The main seating area can be crowded and noisy, If you want a quieter meal, ask to be seated in the "library". It is a beautiful room, the round tables have a turntable in the center which makes passing dishes easy. Some folks complain about the cost, but it is definitely worth it in my opinion. Parking can be a problem but it is worth the walk if necessary.

Food is always good, hot, and fresh. There is usually a wait but that is because they make everything fresh. Ice cold beer plus a cool atmosphere makes for a great time.

Solid country-style breakfast served quickly by friendly servers. Bottomless coffee. This location in Burleson seems much less crowded then the Mansfield location. Don't "walk your check" here (or anywhere) as Our Place will put you on Facebook blast. Additionally - plenty of men in blue eat here that are also interested in your life of crime. ;)
