Soooooo everyone said come here for breakfast. We came. Arrived at 9am. Granted no reservation. We were sat at 9:17. Not bad. They took the order about 15 mins later. Itâs now 11:24 and of the 5 of us. Only two have received our meals. Ohhh and one of us didnât get cutleryIâm not sure if they are either understaffed or have too many tables to manage the rush but something has to give and today it was service. Service gave way under the pressure. At 11:25am. 2 more came. Still missing one. Bliss was honestly not blissful today.

Situated on the South Coast road, The Chopping Board Kitchen at MOJO has plenty of dining space. Dine side bar, lounge, garden or on our deck. MOJO is an old traditional "Bajan" style, black and white building and inside it's walls are filled with famous
I visited about a year ago and received horrible customer service. However a very nice private message from the manager was received and we corresponded, I was asked to give another try. So, I came in with 2 friends. The service was attentive, the food as good, beer was cold and the the solo performer was much better than expected. So good, 2 of us came back the next night. Only disappointment was the spicy tuna wrap was tunafish salad, usually I expect sushi grade tuna with that description. To be fair, sushi was never mentioned. My bad. But it was good.

We stay at this hotel every year, and eat at this location every morning for breakfast, most lunchs, and some dinners. If you book directly with the hotel, the complimentary breakfast cant be beat. Lunch is always good, we like the BLT wrap, and the flying fish sandwich is a favorite. We have had the BBQs, you will not walk away hungry. ive never had a service problem here, and have lost track of how many times we have ate there.

Serving breakfast and lunch, lattes, cappuccinos and delicious smoothies..Try our full English breakfast..Yumm!!
Charged us 24 BD$ for 6 slices of toast which I can only describe as nothing short of daylight robbery - they had nothing else to offer us hence only option of toast, you may question why we did not ask the price prior to ordering - well, would you expect to pay the best part of £12 for a few bits of toast, neither would I - my wife out of courteousness paid the bill and we left. This a cautionary tale, this venue may have had lots of positive reviews but I am guessing having a refurb to pay for they have decided to charge their only income, us tourists, the earth. I will not be going back, poor form.

We ate here three times during our holiday as we often do, over the years we have been coming to Barbados. We always ask for a waterside table and got put in the middle of the restaurant. We were asked if we would mind waiting for 10 minutes (it ended up as 15) and we were put in what was in our opinion the best table, by the water, in the house. To accompany this we were entertained during our dinner by a tropical lightning storm in the distance. Our starters and my wifeâs main course were superb. My main course was rib eye steak of which a quarter was gristle and connective tissue. I pointed this out to the waitress who told me that fat adds to the flavour. I pointed out that I had eaten the fat and the steak and what was on my plate was gristle and connective tissue. She said she would talk to the chef.No one came back to our table after this until I asked for the bill. Now a quandary â do I make a fuss? We wanted to eat here again and not go to The Cliff as the general view of people we met (bar stewards hotel guests etc ) suggested âIf you havenât been, go so you can say you have. If you have eaten there before (and we have lots) donât bother going again.â So I asked Champers for âour best tableâ again in two days time and they said yes. On that occasion they served polenta with the duck breast instead of the garlic mash option I ordered. Quickly remedied but it should have been right first time. When they get it right this is an excellent place to eat.
