We had a great brunch on Sunday complete with Bloody Mary - a nice light appetizer table including smoked salmon and bagels and the main course of your choice. I had the steak and eggs which was great but too large to finish. Took the rest home for dinner. Muffins and danish and salad as well. Nice view of the nearby farmland- and occasional live music. We will be back.

We first visited the Bull and Barrel several years ago on opening night. Our first impression was interesting concept, OK food, noisy but expensive for what is on the menu. Little has changed. Great restaurant for kids. The mechanical bull is different. The menu is a little eclectic. Not sure what the are going for here, feels like bbq but there is little bbq on the menu. For example bacon stuffed wontons, but no ribs?Good choice if you're looking for something different!

Simple, very good food. Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free dishes. We especially like that they have seasonal menus while always including a few standard dishes. It's hard to find different dishes when on a gluten free diet. Nice atmosphere. If you want a quiet Saturday night meal, go at 5-5:30 pm.

We stopped for Breakfast at Eveready. The place was a ghost town. Two clients in a huge dining room. The food was good, nothing exceptional. I had the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was probably from a jar or a mix, not really good. Coffee and prices are reasonable.

Relaxed Fine Dining That Never Goes Out Of Style....
It was my wife's bday so we wanted a special eve.. As we walked in there was a heavy smoke smell like a fireplace yet the fireplace was off.. then we ordered and the two waiters never introduced themselves.. You did not feel welcome here. The food was very good but $5 for a ginger ale (a 12 oz plastic bottle) and $14 for a glass of wine was ridiculous. It will be our last time there. For less money we can enjoy Rrachi's or Aversano's right nearby.Thank you for taking time to comment. It is an absolute first to read you were not welcomed properly. Our captains are instructed NOT to introduce themselves by name. They are there to serve you not to become your friend. It seems there was a mistake made since our sodas are $4 not 5. We would happily issue you a refund. As far as the wine complaint it depends on what you ordered. The price also reflects the amount of the pour which is the largest you will find anywhere north of NYC. We give a LOT of wine. We are sorry you were unhappy but our prices are exactly in line with the other restaurant mentioned and yes we do love Aversanos!
