I have eaten here a few times before. My wife and I made reservations for our anniversary dinner. This place is always busy so make a reservation. Plenty of nice craft beers for you to choose from. I had the Angry Erick Stout. Yum! So good I had another. We started with the wheat pretzel with dipping sauces. Excellent starter. My wife had the short rib sandwich. Exquisite! I had a daily special hangar steak with a mole sauce over mashed potatoes. I asked for the steak medium rare. It was a little too rare on the ends but otherwise great! We shared a chocolate moose cake and an Irish coffee for desert. Superb! Do yourself a favor and have a meal here. You'll continue to come back!

I really wasn't expecting much, it's main attraction was it's proximity to Old Lafayette Village, a quaint shopping area nearby. But I ordered the Cobb salad and it arrived WITHOUT chicken. I asked the waitress where the chicken was, and she replied, you could add grilled chicken on. I looked at her, perplexed, but realized my beef was with the cook, not her. She asked if I wanted chicken, and I, still stunned, said Yes! It came quickly, but I thought I'd entered the twilight zone somehow. I checked my phone to see if the planets had shifted and I was wrong about the BASIC ingrédients for a cobb salad, but no, every authority on the topic seemed to know that chicken was what the Cobb salad was built on, not an "option" but "core" to the whole Cobb experience. I gave one last stab at righting their ship as I paid the bill, telling the cashier I wanted the "chef" to know that chicken is PART of a cobb salad, to which she replied, you can add chicken, it's an option on the menu. Brother!!!

Popcorn with siracha oil is addictive but be warned - it is oily. We had the cauliflower bites which were good and not too oily. I got the quinoa-black bean burger - also good but crumbles easily and the bun was a little stale. Fries served in a tiny fry basket were so good. Lots of beer selections. Casual. Others enjoyed their meals.

Somewhat expensive for what you get but the food is very good. We were shocked that the side ear of corn was only a small half one though - I was glad that it came with our sliders and that we had not ordered it for an additional cost. It looks like there is a weekday early bird special that may be a good deal.

Yetter's Diner

Yetter's is a diner that has been a staple in the area for a long, long time. Some excellent dishes on their standard menu are their hot open turkey platter, and their kabob platter dishes. Among the specials, Yetters serves an excellent liver Viennese, and the best chicken pot pie in the county, if you get lucky. The minuses: (1) For a region that prides itself on its nearby farmland, it's shocking how bland, boring, oversweetened with sauce, and/or inedible almost every vegetable side is on this menu. (2) When fresh, the desserts can be very good - but some are left out too long. (3) The air conditioning is set way too cold, and can make for a really unpleasant dining experience. (4) Fox News, always on TV - we've chosen different restaurant some nights, simply because we didn't want to see or hear that news station with our meal. The current wait staff is friendly, even remembers some of our drink and dining preferences from previous visits. (That being said, we really do miss Leslie, an outstanding waitress who has vanished without a trace. She was so good we often came to eat at Yetter's just to hang out and talk with her a bit.) Yetter's was great when the majority of their entrees were $15 - now we're creeping up to $18 on the kabobs, and a dinner for two with tax and tip is averaging $35-40. But it's good, it's convenient, and if you're passing through along Route 206, it's worth a visit.

We've tried this place several times. When you first walk in you get the vibe that it isnt the cleanest place, but its a local breakfast spot so we stayed. Breakfast was overcooked. It took forever for a waitress to acknowledge us and she never came over to refill our coffee or ask how everything was. After our first bad experience we decided to give this place another try for lunch. I ordered a wrap and there was a hair in it!! I brought it to the attention of the staff and they didn't seem to care.

I've eaten here many times, and I've had great food, OK food, and disappointing food.I really like the owner & staff, but I have to say that the quality is inconsistent. When it's good, it's very very good: favorites are trout, pork paprikash--and I've had terrific burgers also. Good salads, interesting starters, and there really is no other restaurant in the area offering this type of food. I've had more good food than bad food, so I'm rating 4 stars. Would love to give 5--some of the dishes I've had were truly 5 star--location is delightful, and I'm hoping that the inconsistent quality reflects growing pains, and that will get straightened out.

We stopped here for lunch. Decent food and atmosphere with a drive in theme. My husband and I both had pulled pork and our son had the bleu burger. Coleslaw was particularly good. Beautifully restored 1969 Camaro in the middle of the room. Thanks for stopping by! Happy to hear everything was to your liking. The cole slaw recipe is from my Dad's old restaurant in Wayne, way back in the'70's! Hope we'll see you back again sometime soon!Best,Don Hall, Owner
