We stopped here for lunch on our way through town. I saw that Saints Avenue had reasonably good reviews for rural Missouri so I expected okay food at worst. It. Was. So. Bad. Perhaps the worst dining experience Iâve ever had! We were stunned.... speechless... The amazing thing about this place is that it was completely full - almost every table was filled. Iâm not sure if there was an alternative to the buffet - we werenât offered a menu. The buffet included a watery mess of over-cooked meat, rubbery fried chicken, potatoes seven ways (none good), and an anemic looking salad bar. Our experience has become a family joke.

We stopped and ordered the new 4 for 4 deals. After 10 minutes and no food I walked back to the counter to see what the holdup was. 3 or 4 of girls were having a great giggling conversation and when I asked about food they said they were waiting on fries. I counted 5 cars go through the drive thru after we ordered inside and bet they got fries. In fairness the manager apologized and the food was very good. If you want fast service the drive thru appears to get priority over inside customers.

First, there were a bunch of positive reviews about this place. Ignore them. They only serve bad pizza. The equivalent of frozen pizza. The bartender is without rival in the laziness department. I love good dive bars and this isn't it!! Save yourself and eat roadkill under a tree.
