Find out what American restaurants to try in Bishkek. Just at the northern edge of the Ala Too mountain range lies Kyrgyzstan's lively northern capital, Bishkek. With numerous green spaces, parks and gardens alongside Soviet-era buildings and monuments, the city retains its former Soviet Asian flavor. The city is home to many monuments and cultural institutions, including the National Historical Museum and Ala Too Square, where the changing of the guard takes place daily. The Dordoy Bazaar provides ample shopping, especially for Chinese exports.
Things to do in Bishkek
Bar with local craft beer, brewed with high quality malt, imported from Germany and the UK, American and German hops and Belgian yeast. Food and drinks (Fish and Chips, Grilled sausages, pasta, taco etc.)
We were staying round the corner and dropped in for.a beer. Small but interesting selection of locally brewed and canned beers. The bar serves food. I enjoyed my aubergine salad. The owner is very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere in the bar.Would recommend it.
A cosy bakery/coffee shop where you can enjoy a variety of freshly baked croissants, pastries, cakes, and pies with delicious coffee, tea or lemonade.
The food at "Croissant" in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan was delightful. There were so many options to choose from, you just didn't know where to start. You could choose any options and it would be delicious. The cheesecake was astonishing, you could taste so many flavors. The sandwiches were also very good, however, in my opinion, I would go for the sweeter options as they taste more "authentic". Another option I would recommend for you guys is their Raspberry Pie. Once you take a bite of the raspberry pie, the burst of sourness may at first tingle your mouth but then the sweetness of the sauce and cream balance it out. It is an excellent combination of a sweet and sour dessert. The service was fantastic, the ladies there were very nice and kind. You could have a nice conversation with them both in English, Kyrgyz and Russian. The place is very clean. The atmosphere is nice, more people tend to get takeouts though so you would see less people in the cafe/bakery. One thing to point out though is that this is a relatively small place/area.This is quite simply the best cafe/bakery in Bishkek, I would recommend this cafe/bakery to anyone looking for some coffee and meal.Dear Coco J, thank you very much for your review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Croissant!

Microbrewery. Tasting room & takeaway. Hand-crafted all-grain ales. All women driven brewery opened in 2016 was the first in Central Asia. We use Weyermann malt and bring hops straight outta Yakima Valley!
Great place slightly off the main city center but still within walking distance. Atmoshphere is chilled, beer is super tasty and... chilled, too! I chose some thai meal which was great value for money considering its size and delicious taste.

Sumptious meat and seafood dishes straight off an open-flame grill. Everything from XXL size burgers and BBQ ribs to king prawns and live-caught trout and lobsters, all set in an amazingly designed atmosphere.
Spend a few weeks in Bishkek for business and Torro was recommended by my colleagues. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with a Limousine to sit inside in the middle of the restaurant. The food (Steaks) are ok, remember its in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan! The wine list has some nice quality wins and the prices are fair.Do your own wine service, because the waiters have no idea how to open a bottle or even how to serve the wine. You have to be lucky to find a waiter who speaks English.Overall Torro is ok for a nice lunch/ dinner. Don't have to high expactations!!

Obama grill offers a nice range of food - most "American Style", a good selection of drinks, and an English Menu! Many of the waiters also speak English. The outdoor seating is pleasant, the indoor is nicely decorated, and the prices are very reasonable. I have been several times for lunch and dinner and will continue to patronize this establishment. :-)

I visited this restaurant late at night, but despite the fact that it was evening, both pizza and service were on top. I thank the administration of the pizza restaurant "Papa John's"!
