Yes, it is original no doubt with some very original pancakes like the Swedish pancake which resembles rawa dosa, light and lacy and meant to be eaten with your hands. Service is humdrum.

Just donât get the salad, itâs a few scraps three bites tops. Go for cheese/meet platter app or smoke salmon. Dishes are small and allow for multiple courses. All food was extremely high quality farm to table veggies etc. Group was served fresh house made donuts on house to finish-nice touch!

We picked a place for lunch with top reviews since we were in town. I was sold with the pimento. I ordered the hot dog with ham, pimento and fried pickles while my husband ordered the paramount burger. It's a big burger with eggs, patties, fried risotto, etc. We also got a basket of fries. The thing I liked most was the antibiotic, free range chicken, and good quality ingredients. The menu isnt huge but everything sounded good. The pimento was really good. But it didn't have a pot on the hot dog. So I asked the waitress and she was so nice and brought me a small dish of it. (Perfect amount). My husband enjoyed his food and I did too. It was so so good. We will definitely come back!

SAW's was recommended to us by hotel staff. Our server was excellent. We started with fried green tomatoes which were delicious. Our servicer made a recommendation which we ordered. We had the pork and greens and grilled catfish and greens. Both were excellent and packed with flavor. This place has a casual atmosphere and great food. You won't be disappointed.

Texas de Brazil, is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
We went to Texas de Brazil and expected the Green means Go treatment like other Brazilian Steakhouses we have been to, around the country. Unfortunately green meant No Go! We sat and waited for meat but they never came around, or they would skip our table and go to the next. I even put the GREEN on my forehead and still nobody stopped by to bring the meats! Thankfully there was a salad bar otherwise we would have left more hungry than we arrived. Thanks to our wonderful waitress, Kelsey, she realized when we asked for the check, that something was wrong. So she asked her manager, Kylie to come talk to us. We explained what was going on and she apologized profusely. She also made things right, and turned a horrible dinner into a not so horrible dinner. As a chef thatâs what makes a huge difference in a restaurant, the staff who show they care. To all the upper management at Texas de Brazil in Birmingham, these two should be highly commended. Kelsey and Kylie are good people and need to be recognized! You definitely need to work on the Green means Go part of your restaurant though. Iâve never left a steakhouse still hungry until last night.

Some of the food was delicious: the corn soup, snapper and vegetable platter. The Hickory Grilled Wagyu Sirloin on Summer Salad was disappointing. While it was cooked a perfect medium rare, it lacked sufficient seasoning, was not juicy and parts were tough. Not what a wagyu steak should be. The steak was served atop mixed greens which became wilted. The accompanying crispy potato sticks were mixed into the salan and as a result became soggy. It would have been much better if the items in the dish were served side by side rather than on top of each other. The desserts were good but a bit small. The biggest issue we had was the size of the table and the noise level. We were 6 people seated at a table that could only comfortably accommodate 4 people. My chair protruded into an aisle and as a result people were constantly bumping into me. The room was noisy because they crammed too many tables into a small space and the open kitchen added to the clamor.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Perryâs has earned a faithful following by perfecting prime since it began as a butcher shop in Texas in 1979. A renowned group of award-winning restaurants perfect for intimate dinners, business meetings and special even
My son and daughter-in-law took us to Perry's for our 40th anniversary celebration. The evening was wonderful, service impeccable and food delicious! My steak was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Divine! My family loved their steaks and pork chops as well. I really appreciated the gluten free menu and the attention taken to making sure my meal was safe for me, as a celiac, to eat. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant, comfortable yet elegant. Also, while there is a pleasant buzz you can hear only the conversation at your own table. I look forward to returning to Perry's many times in the future. 5 stars are not enough, 10 stars would more accurately express how much I loved this restaurant.

Visited here after hot day at the Zoo when daughter picked it- The server Michelle was great! The chicken salad and pimento with crackers was wonderful. Loved the home made âcrackersâ. The patty melt was a bit on the dry side and needed something as far as seasoning. The kids grilled cheese was very good and had plenty of cheese. Would definitely go again if in area - just know there are only a very few Parking spots but parking on street.

Anniversary celebration...made reservation a month prior. Everything we had hoped for! Based on reviews that we read, the Parmesan souffle was amazing!!! Cocktails were nothing special...actually just okay, but wine selection was exceptional. Scallopine was amazing and pasta celections were great. No room for dessert...portion sizes were more than adequate. Service, as most reviews state, was exceptional. Would also reccomend valet service as parking can be difficult for the area.

We sat at the bar because this restaurant was booked for weeks. We got Great service! Fast, efficient service, and the food was fantastic! Shrimp cocktail appetizer, Triple tail with ratatouille, Red Snapper with Zucchini pancake. It was awesome and the guy even offered to take a picture of us, he didn't have to do that, but it showed real hospitality, we were very impressed!
