Obviously this is a neighborhood bar/restaurant that has a following. The menu is vast but the food is without any finesse. Portions are large, specials for Prime rib are popular but prices are not inexpensive. Mixed veggies were thrown on a plate and so hard they could have used as ammo for a BB gun. Look for other places to satisfy your palate.

In town on business, headed to Texas Roadhouse to watch my college basketball game on TV at the bar, over dinner. Taylor and Josh, my bartenders, welcomed me to the restaurant and gave great (and fun) service through dinner. I ordered the filet, broccoli, and salad (diet dinner), and the salad was nicely prepared, as was the filet - spiced just right, served hot. The broccoli was...well...heated broccoli. No seasonings, but OK, it was hot.Overall a good steakhouse dinner, with fun service at the bar. A good place for a fun night out.

Went on rainy cold Saturday night and figured would be packed. Pretty dead at 8:30 so I was concerned. A friend told me food was good. They did not answer the phone (straight to voicemail) several times that I called before we left - wanted to make sure it wasn't too busy. Anyway, waitress said "You're right, the phone hasn't rung!" Too bad really since I do hope they stay in business!! This place was recently a boring Italian restaurant. They have made many good changes. I would expect most in the area would find this a nice corner pub and upscale brewpub type of place to frequent. Calamari was very good. Burgers and salads also very good. Meat temperature perfect. They got our specific requests all correct. Wines, etc were reasonably priced. I would encourage management to trim down the nightly specials from 7 options to 3 - keep things fresh and streamlined. I really do hope this pub stays in business. The front windows that open completely for nice weather will be amazing during warm weather!

Decided to try the price rib special, soup or salad, prime rib & desert at one low price the onion soup was great the peanut butter desert was fantastic. The meat was just ok. My wife order medium rare and I asked for very rare. Our server brought it out and my wife was medium well and I got an end slice and was told that was the rarest piece (impossible as an-end canât rare). Both went back and later my wife got a medium piece and I got a rare piece but not as rare as I expected. As I had taken medication prior I settled and ate it. Our server apologized canât blame her if the kitchen doesnât follow orders

Ate here since it was attached to the hotel we were staying in. We ate fairly early and it was quite busy. The waitress was very good and attentive. I tried the new bloomin chicken and it was good. Would eat here again if staying nearby.

My friend and I stopped in on one of the first nice nights in a while for some al fresco dining. The outdoor dining is fairly large and you aren't on top of each other. Right away, I got the feeling that the staff was very nice. I'm on a keto diet so I ask for my dish to be prepared in a special way, they were very accommodating and didn't even question my request. They even had a sugar-free, low-carb alcoholic drink on the specials menu that was so delicious! My food and my friend's meal were so scrumptious, I completely cleaned my plate. We then took a walk around Bethel but returned later to check out the band. Very fun spot, we will definitely be returning!

From their humble beginnings on South Main Street in Waterbury to now multiple locations throughout the state of Connecticut, Nardelliâs Grinder Shoppe continues to satisfy the need for fast and delicious meals. You can count on quality ingredients, huge
Nardelli's is a true sandwich shop, they have excellent bread and a really good selection of fillings & toppings. It's not a deli, but pretty close to it. The sandwiches are well filled, well prepared and well topped, the staff is always nice and the food is fresh & delicious. The only issue is that this isn't a traditional deli. They don't pretend to be, they are definitely a "sandwich shop", but they don't have all the cheeses / toppings / food that you might find in a deli, but that is a minor issue, what they have is great bread, great meats / food and great service.Hi Mark,Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such an awesome review. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoy everything from our bread to our fillings! We read and share every review with our entire staff, and we know this one will make them very happy. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you again soon.Grazie!Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe

First time at Sycamore for lunch. The service was excellent: attentive, informed and pleasant without being intrusive. Food was ok. Sandwich fine but the chef had an off-day with the onion rings which were very doughy and heavy. My companion had sweet potato fries with maple syrup which he loved.Ambience was fun and there was a surprising positive buzz throughout lunch.

Open 7 Days a Week Sun-Thurs 6:30am-12:00am Fri-Sat 6:30am-1:00am Conveniently nestled between Danbury, Newtown and Brookfield, Bethel's own Stony Hill Diner (previously the New Colony 5)) has served generations of local residents as well as multitudes of
The wife and I did a lil "last minute weekend getaway" and drove up to this area without hotel reservations. A few obstacles landed us in Bethel, CT. two doors up from the Stoney Hill Diner. What luck!? Walked in, and was immediately greeted with smiling faces and "welcome home" hospitality. Waitress was very nice and proficient. Food was "to die for"!! No charades, this place has that "throwback" vibe to the good ol days. From the decor to the service and everything in between, this staff could teach establishments anywhere in the country "how it's done".

There are many reasons to visit Black Angus but one of the best is the bar staff. Jim, and if you're lucky Kylie, provide intuitive warm service that make it special. We, as many others continue to visit despite numerous other options nearby.
