This restaurant has been in business for years!! The service is average, the food is of enormous amounts, however, the food could be better at times. (Depending on who is cooking). Nothing fancy in regards to the interior, just your average small truck stop. It does have gasoline in case you need to fill up the vehicle before leaving. Lots of locals visits daily for food and conversation and if you stop, you are sure to meet a new friend. Friendly family atmosphere.

First, I should say upfront, that I have a collection of religious items and have an open mind when it comes to religious experiences....that said, I liked the quirky decor at Maria's....which as others have noted, is full of religious statutes etc. The paper placemats are interesting as well,.....giving you the option of several religious meal prayers....the restaurant was clean and interesting to walk through to see the varied collection. Staff were friendly. We ate light, but I would say the food is typical for a local, small, lunch type restaurant. Not sure about dinner. A friend had warned us about the owner who could be chatty if encountered. We ended up meeting Maria as we were about to leave....being forever curious, I decided to chat for a few minutes. Maria has a very interesting story about her near death experience and the effect it had on her life. The restaurant is part of that story. I encouraged her to write a book about her experiences which she should really consider. Unfortunately, it's much too involved of a story to try and condense to a quick chat. So if your time is limited or you have a busy schedule, best just to enjoy the ambience of her little restaurant and wait for her book.

We've been here several times because of their great location near where we stay off route 9.. The prices are reasonable but on par with the area. They have their own parking with enough space for guests. The French toast isn't fantastic but the eggs and sausage gravy have been successful for us. My father-in-law loves their pancakes because they are light and thin but I've never had them myself (I prefer a thick, fluffy pancake myself; just as well, no one could top my mom's.)I do feel slightly out of place here by not being a local, I swear our food and service always takes just a little longer because they don't know us. It's convenient to come here and to park but there also aren't a ton of other good breakfast options nearby, so we keep coming back.

We took our two daughters and their children, ages 5, 3, And two two year olds with us to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in cabin number 22, which was walking distance to the lodge. We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. I had the crab cake and salmon which were delicious. Paige and Beth took excellent care of us. It was especially nice that we could relax with the children on the lodge porch while waiting for our meals. We were able to ârough itâ while hiking to the beach and playgrounds and enjoy fine dining, with local produce! The best of both worlds! Amanda at the front desk was especially helpful, allowing us to upgrade from a two bedroom to a four bedroom cabin. We felt fortunate to be able to put This getaway trip together at the last minute! I would highly recommend this family friendly resort to nature lovers and gourmets who want to enjoy quality food!

Sharon, the only waitress available since school had started, waited on the entire dining area for breakfast. The customers were extremely patient and friendly. Enjoyed everything.

The Naked Olive Lounge is a beautiful "speak easy" type of bar with a excellent small plate menu and amazing cocktails. Weekly food and drink specials. Fine art, great food and fun environment.
My husband and I ate lunch at this restaurant. We were the only customers for a late lunch on a cold and rainy Friday afternoon. Our waitress/ bartender was polite, pleasant, and prompt. We shared the smoked salmon charcuterie plate and a chocolate mousse dessert. Both were delicious. I also had a bloody mary and my husband a draft of a local beer which were both good. Although this restaurant was very quiet while we were there, I would be willing to bet it is a lot of fun when crowded. The menu is interesting with lots of different things to try. Tables were not crowded together and the decor is entertaining.

Went in after a long day at work and we were seated immediately. Our host brought our drinks and then we were totally forgotten. We were never waited on. We finally got up and walked out. We did pay for our drinks and they apologized profusely but I will never go back. The bad thing is, they weren't busy, now I know why.

Lot 12 Public House IS fine dining in Berkeley Springs at it's very best. The ambiance, service, offerings and presentation of selections are all top rate. Expect sometime in the not so distant future for owner/head chef Damien Heath to garner a Michelin star for his establishment.

We were travelling from Ohio to Baltimore to take a Carnival Cruise and my husband was looking for Maryland blue crab. He found Jimmy Joy's online and our group of 8 was excited to have the chance to get blue crab. WE ordered a half bushel and it was a huge amount! It took some time but our group gobbled up the crab. We all talked about what a great experience it was because we don't have anything like that at home. WE stopped about 1 pm on a Friday afternoon and it was not crowded. Would definitely recommend!
