I usually enjoy Cracker Barrel. Sometimes the service has been slow but food has been good. Yesterday while traveling with daughter and granddaughters we stopped there. Service was bad and food poor quality. My daughter ordered a yogurt parfait shock took 37 minutes so finally we complained to manager who finally arrived with a juice glass with some yogurt with one strawberry and a few blueberries in it. Of course they charged 3.99 for it even after we complained the only decent thing we received was my granddaughters Cheerios I would not return there ever!

Seriously the best chai tea/latte I've ever had... anywhere! Went with friends "late" Thursday night after rehearsal (usually things are closed by 9... so glad this place was open!) and there was a spectacular guitarist in the back providing live music! The atmosphere, as so many others have said, really is quite fabulous and there is a lot of local art displayed and gifts and pastries for sale. Small plates are offered and they usually post their specials on their Facebook page. The owner and barista were both so kind and welcoming, which is absolutely *the* best way to get repeat customers! I'll certainly be back :)

I was in the area on business and looking for a seafood meal. Being originally from NC, I was looking for the typical fried seafood, hushpuppies, slaw, etc. based on reviews I tried Jim's. The server was extremely courteous and very helpful in helping me chose what I wanted. I got a combo with shrimp, flounder and scallops. It was all delicious and very reasonably priced. An excellent meal.

Delicious Prime Rib, tasty fried shrimp and great salad bar. French onion soup was not the best, filled with too much bread and not enough cheese and onion. Waitress was pleasant and gave good service. The reason I did not give this restaurant a 5 was due too the hostess. We called ahead for reservations and a booth for my husband and I and two grandchildren. No reservations, so we quickly ran over and place was fairly empty. Hostess put us in the middle of the salad buffet room at a table. I politely asked her for a booth as there were many unoccupied, she seemed put out and gave us the smallest booth possible near the kitchen. Normally I would have pursued the bigger booth but honestly I was too tired and she was a real sad sack of a hostess. Not all pleasant. I wonât return, too many other restaurants that appreciate or business.

Very convenient to Interstate 95, my kids and I stopped recently for breakfast. We'd never visited the Milestone Diner and found it through an online review service. Impressed with the reviews, we had to try it.The fried tenderloin steak breakfast for me, pancakes for my oldest daughter and an all-day breakfast for my twins. Coffee, water and juice for our beverage. Classic old-style diner with a retro '50's look - place was clean and tidy. Not very busy when we arrived, which was about half way between breakfast and lunch. Ashley was our server. Food was plentiful, hot, tasty, and quickly served. Ashley was very polite and kept our drink cups full. Coffee and water for me - juice for my kids. I didn't know about the Milestone Diner before this chance visit, but will certainly visit again when traveling. William E. Lewis Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.

New restaurant and still has some kinks to work out. Staff is nice but still new and seem unsure. Food is average but not the worse compared to another location. Burgers were dry and needed seasoning. I hope with time and experience it will be great. I am happy to have another choice in the area. I enjoy breakfast and their hash rounds are yummy. So will return.
What we like: the coffee is always good and they will always fix what you want the way you want it.The Waffle House is always friendly, welcoming. The menu is the same everywhere and the quality seems to be consistent everywhere in the South. We have been to many of these and as far as I can tell from experience none are bad.

Southern Style/ Countryside Restaurant Sits in a small community known as MEADOW or MEADOW CROSS ROADS right off Interstate 40 Country Style Buffet at LUNCH Seafood Buffet at DINNER Homemade Desserts Bar Ice Cream Bar
I can't imagine how much sugar this restaurant goes through in a week. Everything is sweet, except the corn sticks and the fried chicken. The ham is sweet. The hush puppies are sweet. The corn is unnaturally sweet. So is the squash. Aside from the sugar added to most dishes, this restaurant is worth a try for their fried chicken, alone. Nearly perfect. The BBQ is also great. The desserts are impressive to look at, but after sampling more than I'd care to admit, they're mostly one note: SWEET. Of the ones I tried, I found the strawberry cake to be the most rewarding.
