When a 7-old, who is not a big eater, DEVOURS her non-fast food, you know the place is good! After watching her down 4 bowls of their chicken noodle soup, I can give this place a solid thumbs up. The salad bar was plentiful and fresh, the service attentive, the place itself very clean, and the whole experience good.
After Northgate Highschool's football game, five of us stopped here for some liquid refreshments. This brewery is on a corner of Lincoln (main Street of Bellevue) and another street(don't know it's name) It opened maybe two months ago. My daughter told me that many Bellevue residents volunteered their time to refurbish the building. It is very cool inside and out, with high ceilings and as much of the original left just as it was when built which gives it character. There's a nice selection of beers which they brew right there. They also have a limited food menu that looks interesting and delicious. Check it out if you're in the area, it's very nice.

We live 300 yards from this restaurant and always thought it was excellent. Our last few visits have changed our mind. The atmosphere and service are almost always very good. But the food has become ok while the price is still high. In the past the meat courses were exceptional , but not any more. They are fine, not great. It is disappointing to us. Hopefully they might return to their glowing past.

We decided a couple nights before that we'd like to try the MBFG. However, we were unable to get a reservation on a Saturday night until later than we'd like (after 8:45 pm). We checked back a couple of times and ended up getting a 7:15 reservation. We drove up Grandview Ave early evening to check out the view from the look out area. It's as awesome as you may have seen it described. It was still early and we decided to go into the restaurant and see if we could be seated before our reservation. Fortunately, they have a nice lounge area with tables near the windows so we could have a drink and enjoy the view. We ended up eating our meal in the lounge and it worked out great. My recommendation is that if you're unable to get a reservation arrive early and try to get a seat at one of the tables in the lounge. You can order off the same menu as the dining room. The view may be a bit more spectacular in the dining area because the windows are floor to ceiling, but the view in the lounge is also great. The dress code is pretty relaxed. Now for the food. Everything was excellent. I had the Halibut prepared with the pineapple butter and it was the best I've ever had. Slightly spicy and the fish was very tender and juicy. My husband enjoyed the lemon Sole and my son ordered the filet. This was one of our best meals and completely worth the price. BTW, the prices are similar to other fine seafood and steak places in other large cities. Thank you for your insightful review. I could not agree more with you that our lounge is a fantastic option for when we are heavily booked in our main dining room. Thrilled that you and your family were able to enjoy our restaurant while in town.
Went here for lunch with my husband when we were working in Bellevue. My first remark was that their menu is HUGE. I mean, like pages of stuff from pizza to hummus, to pierogies. Almost too much. My husband ordered a Mediterranean salad and I ordered hummus and stuffed grape leaves. His salad was large and filled with stuff like artichokes, olives, feta, etc. His only complaint is that there was too much cheese, but I don't think most people would complain about that. The salad came with garlic toast that was amazing. The hummus was super yummy - just wish they had provided more pita (one is not enough). The grape leaves were disappointing. They were overcooked and mushy. I've heard that their pizzas are really good, but we didn't try it on this trip. This really isn't an eat-in restaurant - they only have two tables. It's not fancy, but the food is good (except for the grape leaves) and it was convenient for us. Will go back again to try some other stuff, especially the pizza.
Located on the main street, this is a convenient, good 'go-to' restaurant for breakfast or lunch.Breakfast portions and prices are reasonable.Staff is attentive and food comes out pretty quickly.Decor is nothing to write home about but it's great to have this diner in the neighborhood.
Eat here often with my wife - the food is great and inexpensive if your looking for that - I especially like the hamburger - it's the way I remember my Mom making them - and on Tuesdays and Saturdays they are $1.00 off the menu price - we have had other menu items - always good - and the milk shakes are hand made with real ice cream and milk, not the stuff that come out of a machine - so, if you find your self in the Bellevue area and looking for a "home" cooked meal, I think you'll enjoy the Dari Villa

So glad this casual neighborhood restaurant continues to provide good meals at good prices. At our recent dinner outing I ate every bite of the tasty steak salad and hubby was very happy with his ribs (generous portion size with lots of meat on the bones and good sauce). The service was good and we watched the baseball game on the tv near us. Have not had a bad meal here and will continue to go back.

Four of us went for dinner and enjoyed it. Two of us got the steak n' cheese pita and would order it again; the steak was tender, the mushrooms and onions were cooked perfectly and the juice/gravy kept everything nice and moist. It comes with a few small sliced pickles-cucumbers? on the side.Others got burgers which came with a side of small pickles-cucumbers(?) and an order of fries or home fries. Their burgers were a little cooked past medium but they liked them anyway. Service was fine and prices are reasonable. Parking is street parking or there is an open lot up the street. This restaurant has been a staple of Bellevue for many years and hopefully will continue to be so.
