We had went in to the neighboring bar, as they featured a been garden. The flies were unreal! The business was dirty and unkempt, but onto this business. Came into this hidden treasure and was very surprised by how clean and cool it was. Was greeted immediately but the staff. Very friendly and outgoing. Offered advice on where to go to eat, places to see, etc. This is definitely a place to revisit!

The food is horrible. Always greasy and unsatisfing. I have tried it many times over the years and has not gotten any beter. Also the building feels neglected and run down. Wish they would sell the place and let someone else turn it into something worthwhile.

We had lunch there today. I had the all meat Stromboli, my sister had the Terry Peak pizza, my mom had the chick/artichoke pizza, and we shared cheesy breadsticks. The food was amazing!!! I would definitely go back again and our server was a young gal but super polite and friendly, it was very busy when we were there but our food still came fast and she checked on us multiple times!!! We had wished for great steaks visiting this steakhouse midweek but found that they didn't offer prime rib on the night we were there. My steak was good. We had ordered appetizers before waitress came back to table about 3 times wanting us to order our meals. After ordering we were given our salads, appetizers never did come. I'm sure this is a great restaurant but either our server was new or was having a very off day.

We just arrived in Belle Fourche, having flown in from Pittsburgh. Steak tips are on every menu here.So, we had our first dinner at the American West Grill. And what did we order; steak tips. Theyâre marinated cuts of steak, breaded, and deep fried medium rare. Man, were they good!

Looks like your standard small town cafe. But it turned out to be way more. I ordered a Swiss and sausage omelette. The omelette was excellent and the hash browns were piled high. My breakfast was better then many high-end restaurants. Bonus was the server was friendly and the other patrons all seemed pleased. We will be going back!!! Travel safe...

We ate here over the Labor Day Weekend . The prices were moderate and the portions decent. They had an extensive menu of American and mid west dishes, so theres pretty much something for every one.They really pushed the Sirlon tips and my wife had that. I didn't give in and had the steak sandwich. I was glad that I stuck with that. The steak was a top sirloin type about 9 oz and was perfect. The Tips my wife got were a bit on the skimpy side portion wise and weren't anything to brag about. The location is good, right on the main street thru Belle Fourche and has plenty of parking on the South Side. Lots of room on the inside too for large groups.The property is modern, clean and staff are friendly. What more could you want?Perfect spot to dine in BF, the center of the US!Don't miss the Center of the US marker, which is located behind the museum about a block and a half north on the right side of the road. Not just another burger joint! Saying my burger was outstanding, would be an understatement! A variety of options for your burger. Spiral cut fries that are a cross between a spiral fry & jo-jo potatoe wedges! Reasonable prices & large portions!
