Located in a inn built in 1796, the Golden Eagle Inn serves a lovely menu by Chef Scott Mole for lunch and dinner. Enjoy drinks in our newly appointed Whiskey and Wine Bar while being warmed by the fire (and a fine whiskey)!
What a lucky find for us! Needed a late lunch spot while traveling and happened upon this little gem of a restaurant. Friendly, efficient service and delicious food. The BLT with heirloom tomatoes was outstanding. Clean and attractive first floor dining. Free two-hour on-street parking or in the rear of the hotel. Take a few moments before or after your meal to explore this attractive and interesting town. There is a nearby visitor center.

The service is very friendly! Because of our server we stayed in town and did some shopping and exploring! It was an article in the Washingtonian that led us to Bad Boyz - we were looking for a fun place to stop between Pittsburgh and DC.Tons of sandwiches, burgers and salads. It was a very smart stop!Thatâs awesome and we thrilled you made us part of your trip. Next time you are coming by we hope you stop in again!

An unassuming small town diner that serves the usual diner fare. Several people had recommended getting breakfast there so I had some pancakes and bacon. Both items were pretty good. My friend said his burger was okay. Prices were fair. The glass for their small OJ was adorably tiny. Waitress was polite.

Our first visit to Bedford, a pretty town in western Pennsylvania. The cafe is in a beautifully updated storefront in the shopping district. The decor is very homey . We had the grilled cheese sandwich with sautéed onions and bacon. Delicious! The sandwich comes with a cup of tasty soup and chips. The portions were not large but neither were the prices (when compared with our hometown).

Set within the circa 1806 Stone Inn building, this casual lunch spot hosts a lively bar scene in the evenings where guests can unwind and enjoy spirited conversation over Pennsylvaniaâs local artisanal brews. With its flavorful menu and enticing beverages
Enjoyed a delicious casual dinner with fine waiter service. We sat in huge leather chairs and a blanket was provided by our waiter when we suggested the air conditioning was too cold. Really nice to have such an accommodation which made our meal totally pleasant.

Our family stayed at the Bradford Springs Resort this last weekend. The historical aspect of the hotel was very interesting and fun to learn. During our stay we ate at the 1796 Room. The staff was outstanding, attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was very nice with items of historical connections to the property being displayed. The food was quite expensive with steaks starting at $40 dollars. Everything is al la carte so add potatoes and broccoli you are paying extra. My son had a lettuce wedge and it was $12 dollars. We were disappointed as to the size of the wedge as it was quite small. As for the steaks, they were very well cooked and seasoned but the whipped potatoes were average as was my wife's scallop and lobster risotto was average. In fact, she makes it at home and it was much better than what we had there. Our dinner for four, without appetizers (other than the lettuce wedge) and one ice tea and tip totaled $265.00.

Breakfast in the Crystal Room of the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, Pennsylvania, is a special occasion, a genuine wakeup call, like having tea with the Queen. You don't want to leave. My wife and I started with fresh fruit, steel cut oatmeal brulee, fresh baked muffins and a signature granola and berry parfait. And that was just for starters. I couldn't pass up the Bedford Benedict, the local version of a traditional Eggs Benedict with an English muffin, poached eggs, corned beef, bearnaise sauce and two sausage links. My wife opted for her breakfast favorite, a Belgian waffle with Pennsylvania maple syrup, berries and sausage. Wash it all down with fresh squeezed orange juice and hot, black coffee. At the Omni Bedford Springs, they truly know how to start the day.

An intimate full service restaurant, serving New American cuisine using only the freshest ingredients. Featuring unique pasta and seafood dishes, craft cocktails, and a carefully curated wine list.
We came here for dinner while staying any the Bedford Springs Resort. Service was friendly. We had a soup sharing appetizer which was delicious. We each had an entree with seafood- halibut and shrimp papperdelle. Very good and plenty as far as portion size. We shared a homemade sorbet trio for dessert. The wine list has some nice offerings. Wound recommend if you want a more upscale dinner in the area.
