Weren't able to get in Saturday night for dinner with my husband, so we decided to take the whole family out Sunday night for dinner. Our server (I believe his name was Matt or Matthew) was AWESOME! Stayed on top of everything. Food was excellent - absolutely NO complaints. A great time was had by all and we will do it again in the near future.

Situated between Tokyo and Lupe Tortilla on the feeder road between Washington and College/hwy90. Exit College/hwy90 and look for the big farm house ;)
We stumbled across Republic Chicken while in town on business. We had the smoked chicken, fried shrimp and the chicken fried steak. All of it was good but the CFS was off the charts. The veggies were all pretty good, the Mac and cheese was my least favorite. The biscuits seemed to be the typical frozen variety. One nice touch was that everyone gets a random plate design and as luck would have it I got the same pattern that I have at home. I will definitely return if Iâm ever back in the area. Thank you folks for stopping in and breaking bread with us! We appreciate you!Come back and see us soon!

Biscuits wonderful!!Ms.Elsa was our server kept the coffee hot and checked on us to be sure all was satisfactory. Ms. Tiletha was the front register assistant who greeted us when entering and leaving. The staff and management great asset to the organization. We love our Beaumont location.

We were looking for a nice quick place to have lunch passing through Beaumont and after reading the reviews I had to try this place! It was definitely worth the stop. Everyone is correct the artichoke mushroom soup is delicious! The corn chowder is spicy but very good. The BLT comes with mozzarella and is wonderful! Bacon is crispy and thick! I also had a side of corn/black eye pea salad which was pretty tasty too.The selection of ice tea and desserts! I had a glass of the Jasmine tea and the Tropical Tea both tasted so fresh. The carrot cake cupcake and the lemon cheesecake were so good. All I can say is yum!The building is beautiful as well! There are a few outdoor tables on the porch and the inside is nice and open with plenty of seating. We were in and out in about 30 minutes!Five stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸WOWZA!!! My two adult sons and I walked over from our hotel for dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly by the hostess, given menus and utensils. After twenty minutes we had not received any further acknowledgment of our presence from anyone in the establishment. Servers were standing around having conversations. Some were serving nearby tables. We were unable to attract attention from any passing employees. A unanimous decision was made to vacate the premises. As we neared the exit, we were advised to have a great evening by one oblivious employee.

My husband and I decided to eat here for dinner after reading the reviews online. We were not disappointed. I ordered the fish tacos. My husband ordered the fried fish(large). The portions were very generous. Everything tasted very fresh, delicious, and seasoned to perfection. The service was awesome. The waitress came to check on up periodically. Our drinks stayed full. The atmosphere was great for us. This is a good place for families, couples, and large parties. It is a bit loud due to the music and people talking loud. I would not recommend it for a nice quiet romantic evening. If you are looking for affordable delicious food and a nice vibrant atmosphere I definitely recommend you try this place out. You will not be disappointed. Pros: Fast friendly service with good food.Cons: A bit loud

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
We stumbled on to a fantastic deal traveling along I-10.Pappadeaux - A welcoming restaurant & bar open late after a long day of driving. We sat at the bar.One dozen Blue Point oysters for $9.99 (Monday - Friday). Also the incredible grilled blackened salmon on Caesar and chopped salads - good portion and cooked just right. The calamari appetizer is good too. Dorothy, our bar tender, is amazing. My wife is allergic to crustaceans (shrimp, crab, lobster) so we inquired about ingredients in sauces & dressings. Dorothy had her kitchen manager come talk to us about our allergy concerns and clarified ingredients. She offered guidance and customized our selection, which we really appreciated.Meanwhile Dorothy made me an excellent Manhattan - Two actually. Thanks Dorothy.
