We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We went for breakfast. My husband and I ordered the 2 Burger/2 Fries deal for $6.99 & our daughter got a burger and fries for $3.99. We also ordered 2 soft drinks and 1 water. Our total was around $15.70. This worked out well since we were traveling on a budget. The food was great and filling. The booth tables a really tight so if you are on the plus side as I am then you will not be as comfortable unless you are sitting on your side alone. Also keep in mind that they have several $3.99 meal deals ranging from breakfast to dinner. You can get the full menu all day. the best way to describe Huddle House is to say that it is an inexpensive version of IHOP.
I really enjoyed their beef poboy with gravy and fries. It wasn't awesome, but good. The hamburgers are not a bad choice either. I liked the atmosphere and it wouldn't be a bad place to stop if you're coming to bastrop. It's a little pricey, but pretty good food .
We are a locally owned and operated restaurant that is family oriented, but also has a stocked bar in the back. There's a "kids corner" where kids can play & watch cartoons while waiting on their meal. Although we are mainly a Mexican Restaurant, we offer
I didn't get to Juanito's unit the last night of my week in Bastrop, which is unfortunate because this is the best best restaurant I ate at. I did get to the other Mexican restaurant, it was closer to my hotel, but would say Jauntio's was far better. If you are not in the mood for Mexican they also have traditional steaks which are the best in town.Hi SolonMiller, as I did with my last few reviews, I want to apologize for my delayed response. These reviews were just recently brought to my attention. I just wanted to thank you for your excellent review & to let you know that we have many great things coming to the restaurant. So the next time you are in town I hope you will pay us another visit. In my opinion we have greatly improved since May & I believe you will love us even more. Thank you again!
The is one of those places. The food is good and fresh. Cooked to order and so tasty. The burgers are delicious.

Time to have lunch while driving through Bastrop, saw PT's and decided to stop. Lunch was fine. I asked for the men's room and was told it was out back. Went to it and immediately left. I have seen better restrooms where port-a-johns were used.
