I had gone to Harvard Forest and was looking for the Petersham library and stumbled upon this country store. I didn't even realize it was a restaurant until I read the reviews here! It was an eclectic collection of local, handmade goods, produce, candy, ice cream and food. There was probably more but I wasn't paying that much attention and it was a quick in and out. I purchased a bag each of organic baby kale and baby greens; a fireball, ice cream and my favorite licorice for about $11. I also looked at postcards. They had paper as well as mailable wooden postcards. The wooden ones were reasonably priced and the paper ones were expensive! I thought the employee doing the cash register was a bit distracted or new and didn't quite feel comfortable? When I am in the area I will definitely return and explore some more!If you found this review helpful, press thank below.

Stopped in for lunch. The place is very nicely decorated, wait staff was very friendly. Food was very good and there was plenty. Loved the mason jars for glass wear. Is a cute place along side of the road. If you are looking at the fall colors. You might pass by..Thank you so much sweetie!

My family and I celebrated my birthday here and they were very willing to accommodate 14 people for dinner. I remember going here when I was a kid and I would have to say I am glad I went back. They have fantastic prime rib at very reasonable prices. You also get all you can eat salad bar with your meal. If you are looking for no frills dining I would absolutely recommend this place. I know I'll be going back!
The location is right on Rte 122 with spacious indoor seating including booths, roomy tables or at the bar. There is ample outdoor seating too with big unbrellas to use if needed for the sun. Knowing the food was from local farms made the experience I enjoyed there also help the farms nearby. The service was great with a friendly, knowledgable waitress, who ecplained all of my questions clearly. She came back to check on my table frequently. I noticed there was a little alcove area for children with big blackboards to draw on with plenty of chalk and kid-sized tables there too. The food was hot when arrived for me and my party. Everyone raved about their food including me. There was more than enough food delivered that I could not finish everything, but it was delicious. Indoor seating is very roomy so one does not feel you can hear someones elses conversation at a nearby table. It is a great spot for a family friendly restaurant, and I look forward to going back there again.

While the food is okay, it is not of the âoutstandingâ quality. The chowder was very bland. Baked haddock was good and not âfishyâ tasting, a big plus for me. My companion had the fishermanâs platter and there was an ample supply of seafood. French fries good but not crispy. Peas & carrots tasted watered down. As of the time we went they did not have a liquor license. Waitress was attentive and friendly.

My husband and I had high expectations of Picasso, as their social media pictures look so incredible. Overall, it was a good experience, but just not a restaurant that I'd rave about (or rush back to). The outside appearance is cozy and quaint, which I loved; and the surrounding community has such New England charm. Inside, it has a warm feeling but not necessarily anything special in terms of decor or environment. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming!! The menu is very limited, which is fine since everything is made fresh to order (so I would think that's to be expected). I ordered the Picasso, and my husband ordered a pasta dish. The meal came out hot and tasted 'good', but it just needed a little something extra. Our meal was a bit lacking in flavor unfortunately and needed additional seasoning. Overall, I'd recommend eating here if you want to check it out or if you're in the area. But I wouldn't necessarily say fgo out of your way or couldn't say that you NEED to try their food. (Also it was disappointing that our bill came out to about $80 and we left feeling unsatisfied. When you pay that much for a dinner, you do expect to be blown away with flavor).
