We intended to eat at Sumpter Junction because it got good TA reviews and was close the the Tesla Superchargers, but it was closed, so we walked across the street the the Truck Corral Restaurant. Excellent choice! The Clubhouse sandwich on rye was very good - loaded with super yummy meats and cheeses. I took half with me to enjoy later. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich served on a baguette. He LOVED it. Got a caramel shake to go and it was delicious, too. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. Nothing fancy about the decor, but has a good diner vibe. Will definitely stop here again.

Steakhouse serving steaks, burgers, seafood, pasta, and salads. We have a full bar and Oregon Lottery.
We brought Pop's here for dinner while on his visit. The place has been around for a while and we heard good things so we gave it a shot. For starters, the service was excellent. Our servers was super friendly, efficient and had great recommendations. Pops got the steak special and I think my husband actually did too.I went for a chicken dish and it was really good as well. The ambiance is a little strange, the tables appear to have been booths at one point but aren't any more but the dividers are still in between each table. If that matters to you then keep that in mind. It wasn't a deal breaker for us. The food was great. I wouldn't frequent here but it's perfect for special occasions.

I am a chef of over 30 years experience and I was amazed at the quality of the food and service at the Sunridge Inn Restaurant. The minestrone soup was perfect, perfectly seasoned with plenty of vegetables beans and macaroni. The turkey sand was huge with lettuce tomatoes and 6 0z. of turkey. The caesar salad had mixed greens and a perfectly blended ceasar dressing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality food. The waitress was friendly, profefessional and informative.

The best prime rib I've had in ages, and the smashed potatoes and carrots almondine! Delish :) My husband had buttermilk fried chicken and it was the best he has ever had!

Cute place. Friendly service. Best burger and grilled chicken sandwich weâve had. Salad was fresh and good. Sweet potato fries and sauce were some of the best weâve had. The only downside was they were out of the lobster manicotti. Good local drinks too.

Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Watch out for the banana pancakes, it is a HUGE plate and they will cover it with whipped cream and caramel sauce (see pic).Food is decent quality, not great, hash browns were underdone. While one in our party loved the coffee, because it is not strong to me it tasted like hot water with a brown crayon melted in it. Yuck!Service is friendly and attentive.Overall, it is a decent option in Baker.

On a recent trip through Baker City my daughter and myself stopped at Sumpter Junction for lunch. We had the small nachos and the Oregan steak sandwich. Both were very good and served fairly quickly. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant, and the décor is definitely unique. The fair is staple American food. It's said that you can't go wrong with most items on the menu. We were told the salads and beer are both very good. So, not only is the decor unique, but the food recommendations as well.

*Temporarily closed* Work will start next week! Looks like opening around the beginning of June !
We stopped here for supper tonight. We both ended up ordering the fried chicken dinner with salads, carrots, dinner rolls, and potato. The salad was a standard iceberg lettuce based mix, nothing fancy. The dinner was three good-sized pieces of fried chicken, crisp, hot, and delicious. I had a baked potato with sour cream and my partner had the tater tots. The vegetable side was cooked carrots. My partner finished off his meal with a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. This place serves standard diner fare, very well done. The standout here is the service and the people. Our waitress was excellent, friendly and personable. The couple beside us were also friendly and shared photos of the furniture they make since we were sitting at a table that the husband had made. They made us feel at home. Highly recommend if you want a warm atmosphere, great people, and some well prepared filling food.

Barley Brown's was established in 1998. It's located in the Historic District of Baker City Oregon. The in-house brewery can be viewed from the dining room. Best Places Northwest says "Baker City's best (and biggest) dinners come from this family-friendly
Good food and outside seating to bring your dog. Food is ok but beer is the star. Inside is beautiful/

Although service was extremely slow (everyone was waiting 45 minutes to an hour), our food was outstanding. I had an amazing Cobb Salad; my husband had a half turkey sandwich with a side salad. He loved his sandwich. We both didnât get the bleu cheese dressing as ordered so the waiter had to bring us both dressing. Wait was sooo long for our food! Waitress said something about a âprinting error.â Hhhmmm
