When traveling abroad and looking for somewhere to eat I always try to look for a restaurant that is busy and full of locals. As a regular traveler to Gambia in charge of a different group of teen ages each year I strongly recommend Kuntas Bar. It is small restaurant with very welcoming staff with lots of locals eating there or just popping in for a drink. Kuntas serves both Gambian and European dishes at extremely fair prices. The food is freshly prepared and so you may wait a little longer then if you visited the busier restaurants (you can overcome this with a little forward planning by taking their phone number and calling in your order ahead of time with an estimated time of arrival) But the atmosphere is relaxed and I like to know the food has been freshly prepared that I donât mind waiting. They offer a Gambian all you can eat buffet once a week. This is a great way of trying local Gambian dishes at one sitting.thanks for you great review, appriciated

Best to be described as next to the main GT Bank. There is not a lot up that end of Kairaba in terms of coffee or juice places. Sit down in the shade and in comfort and have some cake or snack from the board. Friendly staff.

Jayâs has the best burger in gambia!! Amazing variety of burgers , the chicken burger is out of this world as well as the slammer and Veggie burger of youâre vegetarian! Make sure you order the crispy chicken starter.. the yummy fries that come with burgers are sooooo good!!! Perfect for families, and they have shisha if youâre a smoker too! Highly recommended!
