See what the Colonel's cooking at your local KFC. Stop in today and enjoy our world famous chicken - it's Finger Lickin' Good!
Clean restaurant with fast, friendly service. This KFC also includes Taco Bell in the same building with the same counter so you can order from either or both menus. They are open later than some other restaurants in town. They hours are 10:00 am to 11:00 pm on weekdays and weekends.
The food is okay but not outstanding. The fried chicken is very good. It is probably not really a deli because they do not sell sandwiches. It is more like a cafeteria style restaurant. The food is kept warm on a serving line and you can see it before you order it. They do not have as many items as larger Hy-Vee stores. The tables are in a nice area in the front part of the store with large windows and lots of light. It is a nice place to eat. You can also buy the food to take home. They also have a very good food catering service.

Saturday night dinner, had the homemade potato chips, not really sure if they were homemade, thin waffle chips with some salt, pretty plain. Tried the roast beef, swiss cheese, mushroom, bacon melt, it was OK again nothing special, for my side I had garlic mashed potatoes, I was expecting mashed potatoes, what I got was some red potatoes with lots of garlic that were smashed with a spoon and then grilled maybe with oil and some water ?? Not what I was expecting. Service was OK but very slow, one wait staff but she only had 4 or 5 tables and those were mostly 2 tops. I was hoping to order the Italian sausage sandwich that was on the online menu but it was not on the menu that was brought to the table. Not impressed.
We been visiting this restaurant for years and this last time the food was of poor quality and service was so so this was on a Saturday afternoon and usually we go there on a Sunday evening I don't know if is the cook they had that night will probably try looking for a different restaurant in the future there's not much choice in Atlantic

Always fast and friendly, great hot beef sandwich, burgers are good. Breakfast is the best in town. Daily specials are always good. Wonderful homemade pies and desserts. Consistently great.

Restaurants in Atlantic are afraid of Mondays for some reason. Wanted to hit one of the Chinese places, but surprise! it's closed. Ended up here at West Side Diner. The food was the typical place with food service wholesalers food drops. Nothing "homemade" here, all from the freezer to the grill an fryer. A lot of the reviews here rave about the malts, I'm not sure why since we're talking about ice cream, malt mix and milk for Pete sake. The most Addleminded person should be able to shove a metal cup up into a blender. My biggest beef with this place is that in a desperate attempt to make a few more bucks, they crammed way to many tables and chairs. No way to get to your seating, no way to ajust your seat when you get there and no room to push back and breathe after your meal.Plus sized foodies(like me)stay away. There are other places like it in town, one right down the street (Family Table restaurant) that taste the same but have a little more free space. Jeff

Menu would accommodate most diets. Food was good and service was excellent. The prices were reasonable and was located right across the street from our hotel.

had lunch in this small bar/lounge this afternoon - seated myself in a booth and got a coke while i was checking the menu - shrimp was the special but i opted for the house namesake - ordered a cheese Oinker burger with horse radish and onion and a side of fries - waitress was very friendly and attentive - food arrived quickly and was very hot - fries were made from scratch and were great - used a little "oinker" sauce on the sandwich - burger was a of pork and shaped like a pig and served on a rectangular bun -food was great - ran about $12.30
