Things to do in Antigo
Friendly staff, good location, decent food selection. Quite costly for small portions. Great to have a place like this in the area.
Folks wanted to try the newest establishment in Antigo called Game On, formerly known as the Edison Club. Theyâve opened up the entrance way, added a nice faux industrial theme and even have a sectioned off area for private dinners/parties away from the main dining area and bar. We ordered the Calamari, Cheese Curds, ConiDog, Wisconsin Cheeseburger and Two Bacon Cheeseburgers-one without cheese. Everything was delicious. The Calamari was plentiful and cooked well. Everyone enjoyed their burgers/dogs and the buns from Gunkelâs Bakery were a nice touch for the oblong burgers. Weâd definitely recommend this establishment for casual sports friendly events and having a nice meal out with the family/friends. Thanks for the mayo Hannah!

Enjoy their comparatively inexpensive selections available for any meals as I usually don't know what I'll order until the time comes. Basic but clean restaurant. Obviously have challenges in staff but most are customer friendly and responsive. Prices are reasonable with specials being bargins.
Real good real food! One of the best fish fries I've had in a long while! No breading on our broasted fish. A real nice dish of Cole slaw too, this is Wisconsin!

This is one of the worst $14 meals that I have had in a long time. Dinner includes soup and salad bar. The salad bar was sparse with a large bowl of sad looking iceberg lettuce and a few small bowls with potato salad and cottage cheese. The soup was just OK. It was the entrees that were the real problem. Common complaints with our group.-food was dry-spices that did not compliment food-food did not match menu description. How do you know when the food is bad? People eat less than half of what is on their plate and leave the rest! This restaurant is in shabby condition. Skip It!

Had dinner pizza there again with friends. Pizza pretty good and prices reasonable. Surprised to see they now charge extra for a quality cheese to be used and for even hamburger more as an added ingredient. The shake on granular cheese is tasteless and heavy on anti-caking but flavor of pizza is fine without it. Waitresses work very hard in an overly crowded environment. Prices still reasonable.

Had dinner there again with friends. Seated in bar area again so noise was so loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation. Waitresses are really hard working souls just trying to navigate through the crowd. They are good.. The food always seems to be excellent and the prices are reasonable... it's just uncomfortably noisy so only visit like monthly.

We've spent many special occasions at the Nutshell. It has never disappointed us!!!It's a small place, but they have big supperclub ambiance and food. They always have snacks sitting for anyone to enjoy while waiting to order and be seated. We love the steak and shrimp. Nutshell is one of those if you didn't know it was there you'd miss it. So, look it up and make a special date to go!!!!

Diner in the central part of town featuring a real turkey dinner on Sunday...not pressed turkey or turkey breast but REAL turkey, with dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, veggies...$8.75. Great if you like turkey (husband does). Other dinner specials offered and portions were large. Service good, place busy, sandwiches were as expected. Decent place for decent food.Revisit: do NOT order corn beef on rye. A few dried out strips of corn beef, chewy as leather on rye. They did comp the meal .. guess they knew this was a problematic sandwich.

Breakfast here again was very good. Table attendant, waitresses very friendly and attentive, Breakfast food was excellent. Facility is a bit crowded and noisy but better than many. Like that coffee pot is placed on table so one can have several cups without constantly requiring waitress for refill. Prices reasonable for large portions received.
