Auntie Vs has a number of competitors in Angola, not to mention a fair share of fast-food chains. In my opinion, Vs could rise above the competition with two things: good service and tasteful food at reasonable prices. Most times, the service is good. However, the food is sometimes good and the prices are too high for the quality of the food.If the meal is outstanding, it is worth paying more for it, I think. Quality of food here is inconsistent and this discourages people (like myself) from a return visit. Vs could be better, but is only so-so, IMHO.

We have eaten here numerous times, for both lunch and dinner. Wait staff is friendly and very informative about their beers. The Asparagus salad is the best salad I've ever eaten. A++++++++++ on that salad! My husband has tried numerous dishes from burgers to sandwiches and has not been disappointed.

A lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays, so we called Mulligan's hoping they were open for the evening. And yes, they were open. It was not very busy on the eve of election day. Tabatha, our waitress, was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. There is really quite an extensive menu. My wife selected the huge and tender roast beef sandwich with 2 sides for $10.00. I selected the walleye with 2 sides. We will place it on our list of places to go for a quick dinner. Costs not much more than fast food restaurants, and a whole lot better .

We have had the opportunity to enjoy the 3-6 dinner special twice so far this season. Both visits have been spectacular. We have had the salmon and steak....salad and chowder, Mac and cheese/baked potato and wonderful desserts. Everything was cooked perfect and the service was great. This evening we had Hiliary who was amazing. Great selection of wine as well. Exceeded our expectations .

We ate there yesterday. First time in years. The food was average, nothing special. The only reason we ate there was because our other choices had long waits. Service was ok. Seemed more like a greasy spoon place

This upscale restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere and an unforgettable dining experience. Options include incredible seafood dishes, delectable entree salads and juicy steaks. The large menu has something for everyone.
We were seated immediately, David was our server. He was terrific, very attentive and professional. As an appetizer we ordered the seared ahi tuna for $11.99. Huge portion, will order as an entree next time. It came with a sauce that was tremendous. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops sitting on wonderfully fried sweet potato fries with incredible raspberry dipping sauce. Wonderfully rich and decadent. French onion and the lobster bisque were our soups. The bisque was thick, rich and lobster filled. The onion soup was hot and very flavorful. Main course I had the surf and turf for $24.00 included 1 side of asparagus. The steak was a 6 oz sirloin with 3 oz lobster tail. Drawn butter was kept heated by your side. The fresh loaf of Italian bread served with olive oil, small dab of vinegar and shredded parmigiano. All total was only $78.59. Plus tip. Yeah the decor may be lacking but I'm not there to eat the wallpaper. Food, service unquestionably top shelf. Will be going back soon. Thank you Hatchery well done. Thank you so much for your kind words.

An amazing experience. A anniversary banquet for my Tri-State College fraternity, Delta Chi included a banquet for the founders at this location. Banquet food is normally very predictable, as was this menu, but it was expertly prepared, and above and beyond the normal! Fantastic! But the most impressive part, staying with my normal be on time focus, which makes me fifteen minutes early, found us at the bar. I have never seen such an assortment of "spirits", literally hundreds of options and a bartender very schooled in the inventory!

American Steakhouse. Asian and Southwestern Influences. Located in Angola, Indiana overlooking beautiful Crooked Lake.
During visits to the Cabin I have enjoyed the rustic atmosphere coupled with the view of the lake. Parking can become congested, but overall a good dining experience. The food is excellent, but the one consideration you must make is a large portion of the menu is deep fried which can be a problem on some restricted diets. Great atmosphere with good service.

We were there on a Friday afternoon and we decided to try the pizza. The sauce and the cheese were good, but the crust just didn't make it for us. Service was fast and the place is fun. We'll try it again for the sandwiches.
