This is a sports bar with lots of tvâs for the latest on NASCAR, basketball, football, golf or what ever the sport is youâre wanting to see. The food is great and the service is good.

I got the veggie plate for dinner. Black-eyed peas, rice and gravy (not much gravy though), cabbage, and tomato's. Everything tasted very good. My waitress was very quick and personable. I got one of their peanut butter cookies on the way out and it is amazing! I will return if back in town.

We decided to stop for lunch today after driving by many times and was pleasantly surprised! The chopped barbecue platter was what we had come to expect from nc pit cooked barbecue. Portions were large and our waitress was pleasant and attentive.Hush puppies were good. Only criticism was with onion rings-made with minced onion.

First time at a fish camp...the food and staff were good...the bad was the price...not worth 12.00 bucks...only 1 grilled item on buffet...2 kinds of fried fish only...just not worth it...the ugly...served on foam plates lol for 12 bucks it would have been nice with plastic or glass plate...now I know about fish camps...but there is better fish out there folks...but u want country cooking...u got it here...too each his own...

Jay's Downtowner has the best Rib Eye Steak in the Albemarle area. I would rate the seafood as average to above average, but get the Rib Eye here. Great value, enough for two people. You can call ahead if you want to use the drive-thru pick up window, which is usually very busy on the weekends.

Blue Bay is a good restaurant for flounder, shrimp, oysters, crabs and many other items on their menu. Itâs also more affordable than some of the other local seafood restaurants and itâs good.

Went there last week for a rehearsal dinner in the very private upstairs room. The bartenders were very friendly and professional. The food buffet was good as was the pub-like atmosphere. As we went to leave we noticed how hopping the main pub area downstairs was during this Friday evening. Looks like the hot spot in Albemarle.

We happened to be passing through Albemarle again at breakfast time. While I should probably have tried out another local spot I felt compelled to return here. It was another awesome visit. The staff is very friendly. The food comes out quickly and hot off the grill. Tried the pork tenderloin it was delicious. Highly recommend this place. We showed we were not local because everyone else seemed to know that you seat yourself....

We went for lunch while out on a motorcycle ride. This is a good place to grab a quick barbque sandwich or barbque salad. The barbque taste like it's smoked but not sure that it's with hickory like Lexington does. The small barbque salad is $5.95 and you get 3 hushpuppies with it. The large barbque chopped sandwich is $4 so the prices aren't bad. The service is very friendly and you get your food fast. I will go back to the Log Cabin.

Off the Square is a casual upscale restaurant focused on creating an unforgettable dining experience by using local ingredients to craft gourmet cuisine from scratch. Along with our house-made appetizers, entrees, and desserts, we feature a carefully sele
We had been that this was a good restaurant, so of coarse, we came in with some expectations. The restaurant is well located in downtown Albamarle, with ample parking even on weekends. Handicap friendly. There is inside and outside dining; the dining room is nice and comfortable; outside tables are on the sidewalk. As for the food, both my wife and I agreed that the best we could do was a 2 rating, bordering a 3 (overcooked, etc.). The desserts we had were okay (average). The service was very disappointing. Inexperienced, never lifting dirty plates, few checkin stops, yawning while answering questions. A little overpriced for the experience. Most likely we won't be returning to this establishment (there are a number of other eateries in the area),
