My wife and I ate dinner at Northwoods on Sunday afternoon (July 22). The food was excellent and so was the service. We also ate at Northwoods the next day for lunch. The service was a little slower, but the food was still excellent.

This rustic cafe some miles north of Petoskey, off US 31, is well worth the drive. We visited recently after church and ordered from the breakfast menu. The cafe design, log cabin, with artifacts on all walls, is appealing. The staff is both friendly and professional. For less than $9.00 I was presented with two delicious scrambled eggs, two slices of tasty home-baked bread, and really tasty bacon and home fries. The servings are very generous.
We stayed at the Crooked River Lodge and ended up staying an extra night because of the weather. BC Pizza cheerfully delivered pasta and sandwiches to our group despite the weather. The food was excellent and we would definitely order from them again if we ever get back this way.
Crooked River Coffee & Cream offers a selection of specialty coffee & espresso beverages, homemade pies & baked goodies, Michigan-Made Hand Scooped Ice Cream, Old Fashioned Candies, Local Northern Michigan-Made Gifts including Jams, Honey, Pure Maple Syru
Shop is on River Street just west of Alansonâs historic swinging bridge. Itâs a charming place to stop after a boating excursion on the Inland Waterway. Very cute and quaint, and managed by one lovely, friendly young woman.
It's a Subway...not much different from any other, a lot of the sandwich artists are very friendly and polite, others are not, but you still get your sandwich. Food and toppings look fresh under the glass, so that's always a plus, and the place is clean.

Join us for a civilized atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy, and if you haven't, stop in for breakfast or lunch at Christopher's!
Love Love Love the staff! Great people working here! Food is always consistent and good. They have been running really good specials lately. You never know what the cook will come up with next! I've had the "Homewrecker" that is really good. My friend had a burger with fried mac n cheese as the bun! They just started making pizzas. I'm Happy about that! They're doing Trivia and Karaoke now as well on certain nights.Just a comfortable, relaxing spot in town to grab a good bite! Will be back again!

Bob's Place is midway between Petoskey and Mackinaw City on US 31. We have great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Additional snowmobile trailer and truck parking in back or across the street.
This restaurant looks smaller from the outside than it is. We were looked online and found very mixed reviews and decided to stop and see for ourselves what it was like. We were very pleasantly surprised! The food is really good and the staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The chef came to our table to ask how I'd like my fish prepared and he prepared it perfectly.

A surprisingly deep menu for a restaurant on US 31 in a small town. Liver and onions!! And it was delicious. Surf and turf, pasta many other quality dishes. A very brief but good quality wine list. Moderate prices for a good meal.
