It was so loud in there that we couldn't carry on a conversation at our table. The waiter was new and did his best but that was still lacking, he needs to slow down and listen, which would be easier if you could hear in there. Several mistakes were made our orders, but most were the kitchen's fault. They did not put everything on the plates that was described in the menu. The margarita was weak and tasted mostly like powdered mix.

I grew up in a small town littered with âmom & popâ eateries like this one. Even here, much remains the same. You sit wherever you like and enjoy the coffee. On my visit, the service was quick and very friendlyâwhich is fitting for a family-style restaurant. Alamo Grill sits on the highway and serves all manners of transient folk. Itâs a nice break from the summer heat with its nice air conditioning. I ate a satisfying plate of country fried steak and eggs in peace and quiet, and I would gladly return with company. Places like Alamo Grill are like home for me.

We were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and the end of our 13 day trip to celebrate this anniversary. We decided to have lunch here at Applebee's and we were not disappointed. Our waitress Jess who had just started waitressing was our server. What a wonderful experience we had with her. She was smiling, helpful with her suggestions and johnny on the spot to serve us. Her manager even stopped by probably to check on her as she was so new. She performed perfectly. The food was well prepared and served quickly and well. The dessert recommended by Jess was delicious and the experience put a cherry on the top of our anniversary lunch. The place is very popular, the location is great and the decor is excellent. I can recommend this establishment with no hesitation.

Finding great eats should be easy. Thatâs why at Rustic Cafe we make it convenient to enjoy a home-style meal whether youâre a local or just passing through town. Our menu is full of hearty dishes and generous portions, from our breakfast platters to our
Apparently this is the only non-chain breakfast place in alamagordo, but that doesnât make it great. Itâs located in a gasstation, and it was fairly busy at 11:00 am Sunday morning. Still, there was nobody to explain its âseat yourself,â so I ended up waiting for no reason, service was slow and the waitress more interested in chattting with regulars than doing her job. My burrito was average, well, below average actually. Iâll eat at McDonaldâs next time.

Margaritas are good here, but strangely their prices are not indicated on the menu, and the waitress didnât know, either. I asked how much is the Presidente, the first one listed as a classic margarita, and she could only guess - her guess turned out to be too high by nearly $3.My steak was pretty good. The bar has lots of TVs tuned to sports â this is a good spot to watch a game, with no sound.

First thing out was a basic salad with browning lettuce...not a good start. The food was average at best. Poorly seasoned veggies and the fries tasted like they were frozen not fresh. The gravy was lukewarm. I will say that the raspberry tea was good. My husband said the hamburger steak was decent but again the gravy was a mix kit homemade. We would not go out of our way to eat there again. The waitstaff was friendly.

Stopped here while in town. First time to visit this place. The service was great. Everyone seemed happy. Great menu. The Tiger burger is a classic. Love its name is of local HS mascot. Outside seating was very appropriate and covered. Burger was huge and well seasoned.

Service was so personal, friendly, charming and fast that you have to love it. Best place is at the counter so you have lots of contact with the nice lady

Been here 3 times now and the average wait has been 45 minutes. Last time was an hour and 15 minutes. The burger is really good but it's not worth the wait. I honestly think the cook works one order to completion before starting the next. There are 3 couples here and were going on an hour without our food. Not ok. Hi-D-Ho down the road has a comparable burger and 1/4 the wait.

My friends and I were in search of lunch after spending some time thrifting prior to visiting White Sands. This BBQ place caught our eye. The food was unbelievably satisfying and the desserts were hard to share (because they were so good!). Between the nine of us, we got almost every type of meat and were all pleased with our selections.
