We had our anniversary dinner here while visiting MoCA. It was just What we were looking for. Great meal and nice ambiance. Recommend the onion soup, crab cake, ravioli and the steak was cooked perfectly. Desserts were spot on too.

Jack's is a small "hole in the wall" eatery noted for their steamed hot dogs and don't forget the cheese fries. It's the quick go-to place for a good dose of comfort food.

We ate dinner on our first night and returned the next day for happy hour. The food was tasty and there was a good variety. The staff were friendly, responsive and willing to offer suggestions and recommendations. This is a place we would be pleased to return.
Cycling on the rail trail and we stopped for lunch. Food was good, my chicken sandwich and my wife had the quesadilla, both were good. It was busy and a bit slow, but would eat there again. Location is great as it borders the bike trail.

I must admit I have always been partial to Bounti Fare. I have never had a bad meal at this establishment. One of the things I most enjoy is when you order mashed potatoes, and the waitress asks if you want gravy... there really aren't enough places left that offer gravy. They also have a large bar area that is great for those looking to escape for a night out.... no millennial tough guys or snowflakes at this place, just great people and conversations

We had dinner two nights when we stayed at the Lodge, and John's food hits the stop after a day of exploring and hiking. Highly recommended!

In the heart of town Rwed Carpet has been here forever. The menu hasn't changed in decades. I like the Reuben and Shepherd's Pie. Now and then the lunch portion of fish and chips is enticing. It's fun to check out the many vintage photos of Adaams back in the day.

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the Eggplant Parm Sandwich with peppers and onions (no extra charge) and she had the Roast Beef Club. Both were a bit larger than we expected and they were delicious. It is a "cash only" place where you order at the counter. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. We would come back if in the area again.

Voted Best of The Berkshire's five years running, the Haflinger Haus is a restaurant, tavern and inn located in Adams, MA in the beautiful Northern Berkshires. From Wiener Schnitzel and Kasespatzle to Grilled Salmon and NY Strip Steaks, we are bringing the
This was not a good one. Despite the restaurant calling us to confirm our reservation, when we arrived, they had no reservation and never heard of us. Offering a table in either the dining room or bar, we tried the dining area. It was depressing and dark. I walked over to the bar to check it and discovered our friends at the bar patiently waiting for us thinking we were really delayed. The bar seating was at least cheery. Food was disappointing. Schnitzel was average, spetzel was gummy and veggies were just plain skimpy and dull. Our waitress, Jan, disappeared after serving, which became a problem as we told her before ordering our timing to attend a recital at 8. I finally went to find her for our bill. We missed the start of the recital. The town was not very presentable. Would not even try this place again.Dear Margaret; We're sorry to hear that your reservation was not in our book. That said, we offered you your choice of the cozy, less formal Tavern or the more formal dining room, which you chose. The dining room is dimly lit by design with crystal chandeliers and candle lit tables. As indicated in our many reviews, people overall love the look and feel of our dining room. Bright lights are a turn off in a fine dining restaurant in our view. As far as the food, we are very surprised to hear you didn't care for the Schnitzel. People rave about our authentic Wiener Schnitzel from all over including Germany and Austria. It is the best seller in the restaurant. Perhaps you have never had a genuine schnitzel. Our spätzle is hand made here is our kitchen and we've never had a complaint about it being "gummy". Our vegetables are served without a lot of salt and butter so maybe that's why you thought they were dull? As far a Jan disappearing after serving you your meals, none of our servers hover over our customers while they are enjoying their meals--we find this annoying. As far as our town being not very presentable? We're not sure what you're referring to, but the town of Adams is a small, typical New England town with a closely knit community. Most visitors love Adams. Again, we're sorry but also somewhat disappointed in your review.

I visited this restaurant for a Patrick Gray Jr show in April. Patrick Gray and his friend played a lot of our favorites, including âCome Togetherâ and âWagon Wheelâ. I had the fried pickles, and it was very good, and then I had the baked stuffed chicken, and it was also very good, and then I had the strawberry rhubarb pie, and it was also really good. The service and live music were both very good, and it was overall a great experience.
