I come to this location a lot so was delighted when our group decided to come here for a celebration. The food was excellent and the service was seamless. There were about 15 of us and I do believe that every one's order came out correctly as ordered. Several of the staff checked on us to make sure all of us were happy, really reinforcing the team approach. It was really nice of them and our server, Evy C was amazing. Great server, great time!

I made the mistake of ordering off the menu. Bad move.Had the grilled cheese sandwich. Order took a while to get...and the onion rings were overcooked. Good thing they gave me mayo, cuz it helped to drown out the burnt flavor.Sandwich was pretty skimpy. Looks like they only used one slice of cheese. They should have put this meal on the Kid's Menu. But since this was only 5 bucks, I guess you get what you pay for. Sorry guys, but what I paid for was disappointment. I'm sure if I had the buffet, my review would have been more favorable.

My first time at this location was truly a good one. The waitress was excellent - knowledgeable about the menu and great service. The food was served promptly after the order was placed and it was fresh and hot. Facilities were clean and well maintained. A fun ambience to this location and one I look forward to returning to again!

Wife had pastrami. Thumbs up. Good stuff. I had the swiss burger with 'shrooms. Pretty amazing. In fact, I noted that this burger was the first in a very very long time, that I didn't use any condiments. Just enjoyed the taste of the perfectly cooked large - and I mean large - patty. The burger's big and so is the bun...quite the handful. Also comes with lettuce and tomato.Mash potatoes are awesome. Especially with the clarified butter if you ask. Dee-lish. And they were only lightly seasoned, so I we able to suit my own taste. Nice.Tip: get a side order of homemade chips as an appetizer. Only $2.75 to get your palletes going. Nice and crispy. We'll be back. Take a stroll afterwards around the block.

This is an updated review of my lunch experience at Henry's Louisiana Grill this past Saturday. My previous review focused on an issue with the check. After thoroughly researching the situation, we learned that the issue was with the patron (i.e. me) and not the waitress. The waitress was simply making the best out of a bad math situation. My sincere apologies to the wait staff at Henry's for the undue stress my "gratuity review" caused. And thank you to Stephanie for your quick attention to the matter! My dining experience went like this: I ordered the Atchafalaya Catfish with fried catfish and substituted the grits for angel hair pasta. The catfish was drizzled with crawfish cream sauce. It was really good. The sauce had a cajun kick to it, so order wisely. Red pepper cornbread came with the table. I liked the cornbread, but only wish that it wasn't served cold. Turns out, you can request to have it warmed (note to self). I enjoyed the meal.

Visited this place long time ago, the food was excellent but the waiting was too much. Have it a second chance and again the food was delicious but now they also got it to our table in a pretty decent time. Really like to have a nice restaurant in this area.... we need more!!!!

In our area most of the older Shoney's have gone away. This is one of the newer design floor plans and the folks it run it are Pleasant and friendly and put out a good product on the buffet.
