The kids convinced me to eat here. The outside of the building is very dated, looks like something out of the 1960s. Thankfully the inside is much better. The food is just average, nothing special. The service was brutal, extremely slow. No utensils or napkin for one in our party, I finally flagged someone down to bring us some after 10 minutes of trying. 2 of us ordered the blueberry pie for dessert, the crust on one of them was so burnt it was inedible. Took me another 10 minutes to flag down somone for the bill, then another 15 minutes for them to come take the payment.....bill was $45, I gave the waitress $60 and she had the gall to ask if I wanted any change! $15 tip for crappy service....I think not! No excuse for the bad service, it was not busy at all. I won't be returning anytime soon.

We dropped into Milestones for lunch. There was six of us but no problem getting a table. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, good sense of humour and very nice. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and I will just comment on what I had. The daily soup was mushroom and it had a slight kick to it and full of flavour. My other dish was the ahi tuna power bowl. It had lots of tuna, lots of other ingredients all on a bed of noodles- very good. Everyone left full and happy.

Moxie's Grill & Bar, a casual Abbotsford restaurant on Simon Ave. Within walking distance of the Sandman Hotel, with a full menu, patio and lounge. Open late.
Our daughterâs volleyball team was staying at the Sandman, same parking lot, and we didnât know when our tournament day would be over so we waited till the last minute to make dinner reservations for 20-24. One parent called when we were done the final match of the day and Moxies asked for an hour allow our team and parents to sit together - perfect amount of time to check in shower up and get to dinner. While we couldnât all sit together we all had an area to ourselves and a couple of servers. Our table was served by Brodie. Service to the table time was good, drinks were going to be delayed due to a busy bar so Brodie brought us water and acknowledged the timeline till bar drinks arrived. Time to order dinner was fine and time till food arrived was perfect.I went with the salmon Cobb salad, shocker I ordered a Cobb salad lol, it was a great choice. The salmon was cooked medium-medium rare and melted in my mouth, the egg was shy of hard boiled so slightly runny and dang tasty. Overall the dish presented well and tasted amazing. If I was to question the plate it would be on the inclusion of croutons in the salad, yes an added crunch but the fresh iceberg salad and perfectly cooked bacon the additional crunch wasnât needed and I didnât see any added value to the taste of the croutons.Overall exceptional visit and they served island beer - Driftwoodâs Fat Tug an epic awesome IPA. Hi there!I am so glad to hear that the parents and the team had a wonderful experience while dining with us in May this year! the Driftwood Fat Tug IPA is definitely one of my favourite beers so I am glad to hear you enjoyed that!If you ever need to make a reservation when you are out this way again please don't hesitate to contact me directly as [email protected] you,KaylaGeneral ManagerMoxie's Grill & Bar Abbotsford

Went last night (Friday night)We made reservations - 2 friends catching up. They put us at a very small table. There just wasnât enough room and neither of us would be considered large individuals. Felt cramped. Especially when our meal came we had to shuffle stuff to make room for our plates. Prime rib was delicious. Baked potato awesome. Veggies were lack lustre... they were soggy and over cooked. Not appetizing. Bellini was great but over priced. My biggest complaint is that in order to get drink specials you have to sit at the bar. So sitting at a table you are not eligible for the specials. Did not think that was right. The waitress said itâs the franchises choice so out of their control. Our server was polite, friendly and attentive. Much better than my experiences in the past where they have been a little snobby and rude. Over all a decent night.

We were going to meet our friends at the ABC Family Restaurant, and of course it has become Ricky's Family Restaurant. I don't think anything has changed. Perhaps there are new options on the menu, but I came for the "Rempel" Farmer Sausage & Perogies Dinner Classic. I remembered it was quite a feast and decided to split it with my partner and have a bowl of Beet Borscht each as well. Our friends placed there orders and we waited for water. Tick-tock tick-tock, and finally we all had water. Our server had a hard time keeping up and often we had to ask for a refill. After quite a wait, two cups of borscht arrived and we sat uncomfortably for a few minutes before our friends let us begin without them. We were nearly done when our main and one of theirs arrived. I was a bit taken aback as I saw our plate had but three half sections of (the world's best) sausage. I distinctly remember seeing four in the picture on the menu. You can compare for yourself in the pictures. It almost looks like there might have been a fourth piece, but since Rempel's sausage is so good, maybe someone ate it. The price seems to have jumped quite a bit, too. I don't think the dish is worth $17 (even if it is Canadian dollars). The other food was good and we even decided to have a slice of pie for dessert, but all in all I felt it was average and over-priced. To add insult to injury, we felt obligated to tip even though the the service was slow and we had to ask over and over. Still it is what we do. I know the servers are paid to ask what we want and then bring what we ordered. It isn't that they aren't being paid to keep our glasses filled, and that they do it out of compassion. I don't know why society has developed this idiotic addition to an already expensive method of feeding ourselves.I'll be back to ABC or Ricky's unless somewhere else starts selling that delicious Rempel's farmer sausage.

This is our go to restaurant when my wife and I want a nice night out. The food is good, the staff go out of their way to make the evening special, and the atmosphere is great whether in the lounge or restaurant areas. The outside patio is just an extra!

If you're out Abbotsford way, make a point of parking in one of the free 2, or 3, hour parking spots, wander the renovated downtown core, after a great breakfast, or wander first, and go for lunch.Hi there, thanks for the great review. Iâm glad we were able to impress your friend and we are happy to hear you chose to bring her here ! And We are able to offer limited vegan options. Cheers

North American French Cuisine Taking the best of Montréal & New Orléans flavours, and adding a touch of home-town style, Brodeur's Bistro has something for everyone.
I've been to Brodeurs 4 times now, and a couple times I thought it excellent, but tonight was quite a disappointment. It was a busy dinner hour and perhaps the kitchen was stretched. I had ordered the beef dip once before and thought it was the best I'd ever had. Tonight, it was full of onions with very little beef and very different from the last one I had. It was featured as a special and maybe they were running out of beef brisket. If so, why not just pull it off the menu and say it is sold out.I made the mistake of ordering a Caesar Salad side. Who puts onions in a Caesar Salad, let alone 20-30 slices in a small side salad - disgusting. My partner had a buttermilk chicken sandwich which was fine, but got very little fries with her side and the gravy was cold. We might just look to different restaurant options going forward.
