A jazz cafe & vegan tapas bar with regular live music set in the courtyard of the picturesque and historic Staplehurst Grange.
We were at Django's for the music, wondering whether the long drive into the countryside would be worth it. Any fears were soon dispelled by the attractive setting, lovely buildings, and friendly welcome. I only had a piece of cake, but it was delicious. As delicious as the music, in fact, but Paul Armfield, like Django's, is well worth finding.

I returned to this restaurant after 2 years to give it another try after a poor visit before.Again on a night with a buffet night had anything Improved ?No the Hygiene was poor people using spoons in and out of different dishes and putting down on the table. The staff blasè and un interested I will Never visit again Twice bitten.Thank you for your comments & weâre very sorry that you didnât enjoy their experience at Bendula. We serve all of our food fresh from Bain-Marie's which are kept at the correct temperature. They all have a serving spoon allocated to each Bain-Marie which is placed on a small plate in front it so there should be no cross contamination at all.
