Vida pioneered the way to bring that authentic European espresso bar culture, infused with that unique energetic African flavour to Longbeach, Noordhoek.
I like the coffee at Vida. They also have great rolls and sweet treats to enjoy on the go. The service is tops and its always busy, no surprise! Their coffees are steamingly hot but nice to know that they take the time to offer a gorgeously hot latte too, not just a tepid one like you get at many take away coffee places. They stock delicious fresh fruit salads and fruit bowls as well as other yummy savouries. Their savoury muffin is one for the books!

I absolutely loved the food here, on a few occasions and this tells me its constant excellence. Love the vibe, service & tastes. And being a foodie myself, I am not quite the easiest person to "win over" but hands down to The Grillfather - you guys have it waxed to perfection. The rolls are just right, the meat always tender and salads are always crisp and the tastes come together and just like that you're in foodie heaven. If you haven't been - get there soon.
A fantastic space with beautiful delights that will feed your soul! Fresh produce shopping Dried fruits Deli items Decadent Waffles and pancakes Breakfast and burgers Raw juice bar Kid friendly with outdoor play area
At first glance Rodgers Fruiterers looks like a greengrocer. Yes, it does sell fresh organic vegetables and fruit and it does have that rough and rustic feel about it, but as you move to the back of the store there is a small restaurant with rough furniture but a great welcoming atmosphere and staff that are each passionate about their specialties. The pancake stall, with a 7 item menu, has the friendliest pancake maker I have ever met. The freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juice stall had a full range (particularly on the healthy side) to choose from. All ingredients from the shelves of the shop. The coffee and drinks stall produces a mean coffee, but the highlight for me was the cheese stall. The 'Cheese Lady' personally produces and sells her handcrafted cheeses under the label 'Clere-Lapree'. There is a full range, from goats milk to more exotic flavours as well as the properly aged goudas and cheddars. She is so passionate that she kept us for 15 minutes telling us about each cheese and and allowing us to taste.Once a month the Peach Pip Market is held at Rodgers which draws a whole other range of products and clientele.Well worth a visit.
