The location of this small, but friendly restaurant would not make you expect something luxurious, or outstanding. However this cannot be farther from truth. We chose this spot for a business dinner and were greatly surprised, as the quality of food and service was amazing. The cuisine is based on fresh seafood, which surprisingly, given the location did not let down (see pictures of ice display). âFruits de merâ were as thought they really just came from the ocean and chef made a fairly good use of these ingredients. We tried garlic shrimps with assorted veggies, which took us to seventh heaven and urged to order seconds, followed by fresh, juicy oysters, really tasty sea urchins, which were not only fatty on the verge of Uni, but also properly prepared and a variation of octopus salad, with sweet potato puree and celery root. For desert we had cheesecake which came close to what you might call a benchmark cheesecake, because it was not only freshly cooked, but also properly served. Side included blue butter and homemade gran bread. As beverage we took some home made orange and cucumber lemonade, which was refreshing and added that extra cleansing fresh acidic taste which goes extremely well with seafood. Signature cuisine was a big surprise, but actually can be held to a highest standard expected on main street lush restaurant in top cities. The only thing which still needs improvement is alcohol license without which it is only BYOB policy, so if you wish to enjoy wine or something stronger - you either have to take something with you or ask a waiter to run downstairs to a booze shop, conveniently located downstairs. All in all the experience was very positive and we would certainly come back for another visit, because such quality is rare for suburbs and usually comes at higher costs.
