Reviewed By SteveJClarkeMosbach is a beautiful and ornate town and the Hotel Amtsstueble is an ideal location from which to base oneself and venture out. Within the hotel, everything is clean and bright, quiet and peaceful. The staff are super-polite, welcoming and friendly and I was made to feel genuinely valued as a visitor to the hotel and to the town. Whilst our room was basic, it was well appointed with a good quality shower, lots of electrical sockets, hair-dryer and free Wifi. Breakfast was included and there was a lovely traditional offering including meats, fish, breads and cereals, with a variety of cooked eggs available on request. Their teas and coffees are also excellent.

Comfortable Downtown Mosbach Hotel

Restaurant on-site has very limited menu but the hotel is in the town center and there are numerous restaurant choices . We had a great dinner at Wild Bill’s Saloon which was about 300m. down the street . Room was quite large and clean but the bathroom which also was very clean was a bit cozy / small . The shower entrance in our bathroom was so small that I had to turn sideways to get through the door . A minor inconvenience but rather interesting with the remainder of the room so large . Breakfast was adequate.

Solid Hotel in historic city
Reviewed By Sebastian CHistoric from outside, partly modern from inside. Got all it needs: Decent breakfast buffet, Wifi, TV, functional bath rooms, good heating and cosy beds. If you need to stay in Mosbach it's a solid choice for small money.

If you suffer from food allergies they are considered with utmost care. What an excellent place to relax and enjoy. Stay there in a nice quiet room in the back side of the hotel; they are well provided and nothing is missing to give you a peaceful rest. Breakfast is just gorgeous , taylor made.

Reviewed By ManxSailorThe Pension lies in a quiet residential street within walking distance of Mosbach-West rail halt. It's also not too far to walk into the town of Mosbach. There is the possibility of staying in a chalet on the rim of the forest at the back of the house. However, the proprietor judged that I was too tall - and perhaps too elderly - to navigate the wooden stairway into the low head room loft space where the bed was located. It would be ideal and exciting place for a young family. Instead of the chalet I was placed in a normal single room in the main house that included a bathroom/shower/toilet. The plumbing could do with some attention as the water was either hot or cold - but not available at the same time. A hot water jug was provided and the TV was large screen with a good number of channels. No breakfast was provided (or available). Instead there's a good bakery/cafe close by where one can get a good breakfast. A large "Kaufland" store is also not too far away where one can get meals all day besides being a great shopping area.

Unser traditionelles Hotel befindet sich in einem mittelalterlichen Fachwerkhaus direkt in der Fußgängerzone im Herzen von Mosbach. Seit dem Jahre 1700, ist das Kulturdenkmal der Goldenen Hirsch als Gasthaus in Mosbach bekannt. Durch unsere große Renovierung (2020) wurden einige der insgesamt 23 Zimmer sowie die Rezeption und der Frühstücksraum einer kompletten Renovierung unterzogen.
