A small and cosy bar / restaurant at the foot of the gondola. Open Winter and Summer in the heart of Saint Jean d'Aulps. Family friendly, good food with vegetarian options, live music events, cocktails, Guinness and much more.
We enjoy eating here regularly. Unusually for this region, you can order with confidence from the menu and know you will enjoy everything your party orders. Steaks cooked perfectly, Hallumi and chicken burgers the best ever tasted. Service friendly and accommodating. Worth eating here more than once during your holiday so you can order one of the âorder in advanceâ options which are frankly divine.Thank you so much for your review and we're delighted you enjoyed our food so much! Hope to see you again soon.
Where to eat American food in Montriond: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Haka is an awesome little bar right in the centre of Morzine, just off the town square. Great all day and night for decent drinks in a lively atmosphere.Best time to visit is happy hour from 4-7pm, 4EUR beers (that are actually decent as opposed to a lot of the other happy hour beers on offer in other bars.) We beg you to get the double burger to soak up some of those booze, we promise you won't be disappointed. Very affordable food too.

Weâd passed it a couple of times skiing across into Switzerland, with Avoriaz rammed we skied over for lunch. What a great choice.Sat outside in the sun, the place was heaving, beef bourguignon, dauphinois potato & green salad was plat du jour - the servers were flying, taking ordered, serving, settling up - a real feat to behold. We had the plat du jour & a beer, it arrived faster than weâd expected and was fabulous.A real winner in all fronts

This is a great place for lunch or even for a drink. Seems like quite a new place as it all looks very nice. If you want to eat inside you will need to book but if itâs a sunny day, the terrace is well positioned to catch some rays

If youâre looking for a light and flavourful piste-side snack - look no further than La Tanière, across from the top of Prodains. Whether youâre feeling like pizza or crepes or homemade tarts - theyâve got you covered! Iâve not been quite hungry enough yet to try the « formule du jour » but the portions are generous and it always looks great. Try their delish Savoyarde pizza if you are wanting something with a local touch!

Fresh beer and fresh food
Our chalet staff recommended and booked this forward and initially a bit disappointed as looking for traditional mountain far, but how wrong could I be. We ordered a number of dishes to share and were all absolutely spot on, one of the best meals Iâve had in the alps. Add to that some decent beers and very reasonably priced wine (cheaper than the chalet honesty bar) and canât go wrong. Simply awesome! Will be returning when next in Morzine.
