We are proud to offer some of the most finely crafted beers in the great state of Vermont. Pair any of our fine selections with any of the house made, locally sourced items off of our delicious menu and we have no doubt that you will leave satisfied! Please call for directions and daily specials
We had dinner with friends over the summer and ate in their large outdoor area. The food was very good all around but we found the beer not that great. Service is friendly, it's got a nice high energy atmosphere. So there's lots of pluses for this place, but for the four of us, the ales and beers were just ok.

Let me preface this by saying that we've been almost consistently below freezing since early December here in Northern Vermont so when ordering a coffee or tea, I would assume (yeah, right) that the staff would automatically serve the requested beverage HOT, not the iced version. The first time it happened, I was at the drive through on a cold morning and ordered "a large green tea" - what I received was a black ice tea. To their credit, it was large. Next time, in store, I ordered a large green tea at the store and saw the dreaded "ice tea" pop up at the register so I was able to correct it right there and then. Seriously, it shouldn't be this hard. The rest is par for the course for a DD, clean bathrooms and the usual selection. Although they seriously need to rework their egg/cheese on a croissant because it always comes out soggy & sad looking.

Great place for lunch or breakfast. Small, overseeable menu, you order at the counter. Very personable. The owner bakes all fresh in the am and they are open until 2pm during the week. Closed on the weekends. Meat is always fresh, all made to order.

We were looking for a spot for lunch and decided to give Pizza on Main a try after spying it online. They offer a wide variety of slices with some deluxe combinations as well as a build your own option with all the typical options.
Walk in and order at the counter and grab a seat. Our cheeses/sausage/green pepper arrived steaming hot in about 15 minutes and had a nice crispy crust. Flavor-wise I found it a bit bland but luckily they offer shakers of oregano, garlic powder, chili flakes and (on request) Parmesan cheese so I was able to jazz it up a bit. Since we were in the heart of cheese country, I expected something better than the flavorless cheese on top.
In fairness perhaps we would have been better off ordering one of the many gourmet slices that they offer that just have to be rewarded.
Our small pizza ($16) has about 8 slices and was more than the two of us could finish.
Decent but our pie was nothing special.

Morrisville, Vermonts historic train station has been transformed into a vibrant & fun gathering place. Where friends can meet up at our comfortable 30 seat brass bar for generous martini's, delicious wines, 12 carefully selected craft beers on tap & most importantly, welcoming service . The former railway platform has comfortable seating for guests looking for a relaxing meal & is the pefect place to meet up before or after a show at The Bijou Theatre. With our creative & savory "made from scratch" menu & attentive staff, we are setting a new standard in casual dining.
Was overall disappointed in the entire experience. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. We had used their online system, which apparently does not work as they had no record of it but (I received a confirmation email?????). This I felt started the evening badly, we were told we could sit at the bar (I don't drink) or at a high table, my wife is short and very uncomfortable on tall chairs. We chose to sit at the bar and wait as the only other option was to wait in our car, this took a lot longer than I felt it should. We were finally seated, the bright spot was the waitress, she was very nice even though she was new. After a meal in which there was way too much pepper and spices in a pasta meal and a prime rib that was suppose to be medium and was rare and two bar drinks at $10 each we got our check $73. For what we had and the long waits I feel this was WAY over priced, could have gotten the same meal at the Chalamont for $30 less. Really don't think I will visit there again.

Traditional barbeque, smoked foods, craft beer and cocktails. dine in or takeout, outdoor seating available seasonally.
You can be pretty sure that some places that are off the beaten path might be worth the trip. Black Diamond BBQ is one of these. Very tasty barbeque. The different smoked or BBQed meats didn't all taste the same, as sometimes happens. And they have a great selection of local VT craft brews. Go hungry and leave happy is what I always say.

A gathering and grazing spot for friendly locals. Lots to choose from for breakfast and lunch. Sandwiches and wraps seem to be first choices. The concept of ordering at a counter, taking a number, finding a seat and waiting for delivery does not seem like a good idea to me, but no one seems to mind. Paper plates and plastic ware is a minus.

Second night after we arrived in town and saw a little notice in the local paper. "Old and In the Way" tribute band Sunday evening at 5pm. At Moogs Place. OK! Great old bluegrass band of the 70's that featured an all star line-up including Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. What do we heave to lose?
The band was excellent. Five very talented people playing very authentic blue grass and doing the Old and in the Way tunes really well. It was a very pleasant surprise and a joy to listen to.
As good as the music was so was the food being served. Simple tavern food done very well (a real rarity I'm sad to say). I had a pulled pork "Sammy" and Denise had their special burger. The burger was substantial and done as ordered. It was quite flavorful. The pulled pork was wonderfully rich in smoke as I like it. The real pleasant surprise was the fries. They were the best I've had in a long time and as good as the best that we ever had in Paris!!! Well done!
So if you find yourself in Morrisville or down the road in Stowe stop in for a good local ale, very well prepared meal, a smile from the waitstaff and maybe even some great music.
Enjoy!

Authentic Mexican Restaurant serving fresh food made from scratch with quality local and organic ingredients.
This is a very cozy, pretty restaurant with nice staff. So much potential, but the food is just so-so. Add to that the hidden costs of various add-ons (watch out for the tiny $2 cup of sour cream or the $3 cup of guacamole, charged without advance warning by the wait staff), and you are left feeling a deficit of generosity here, which is a sad thing for a restaurant.

Not a lot to base an entire review on but here is what we had. Two hamburgers that were like over cooked hockey pucks. Chocolate milk that was not very cold or chocolate like. Fries were OK. Condiments are outside in the hot sun and hard to serve. Would not stop again.
