This place is what the coffee house used to be......before all the major chains swallowed them up. Luckily the Common Cup remains. A place for good coffee, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

WOW! A true gem in the city of Morris. If you only eat one place in Morris, make it Dons Cafe and you will be very glad you did. Awesome food, gigantic portions, home made bread, fantastic service. Give Dons a try and you will be a regular!

We've almost always have good experiences here but lately it's bad. It seems like staff feels an inconvenience when we ask for something. We ordered 5 blizzard and the lady at the drive through just handed it to us, when asked what it was, she seemed annoyed. They ran out of Reese's peanut butter and the way she said it in that tone was awful. They need to serve customers with a smile.

They have these all over Minnesota so quality should not be an issue. At this one it was. The fried chicken was way over cooked on the legs, wings and thighs. The salad bar did not offer much of a selection. They have many pizzas to choose from but most were weird combinations. I was looking for a sausage & mushroom but the nearest was a steak pizza. Finding a pepperoni pizza was all about timing. They would bring out one every 15 minutes or so and you had to be near enough to get some before they were all gone. I suggested to the server delivering the pizzas to the buffet to maybe bring out two at a time. I was told they have a set schedule to follow. About the pizzas. If you are looking for one with a really good red sauce, these are not for you. With all the various toppings they pile on it is hard to taste any sauce which means to me a very weak sauce. Since it seems to be the only place in Morris, except for a gas station, to get pizza, they have a captive audience.

We ate here in the early evening. It was obvious that everyone else was a local by the way they talked from table to table and the way the server greeted them. It's the same way for us when eating in our local place! So, friendly service by a nice young woman, probably a student, was the best part of our simple meal. The food was hot, but only average tasting. It looked like they had some homemade desserts, otherwise menu items that you would expect. We would probably eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so or to try another cafe. This one was suggested by the desk clerk at our hotel, the Grand Stay. Which is excellent and very new.

Superb Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere! Entrees were in the $20 range, which is fairly high for our family of 6, but, OMG...was it worth it. Food was fresh, original and scrumptious. I wish we had tried this restaurant years ago.

The whole family went here and loved what they had to eat. The Carne Asada is phenomenally good. Chips and salsa is best we have had. Their staff is very nice. It's in a mall but the food is superior to the location. Excellent vegetarian options as well. Our favorite place in Morris when visiting our daughter in college.

We tried the nachos which had no bean ground beef chili on the corn chips with queso cheese and shredded cheese from a bag. They were tasty but not spectacular. Salsa and guacamole were served on the side in very small cups and the sour cream was in a tube.

I ordered a meat Lovers Pizza and Bread sticks.
The pizza was cooked just right and the topings were just as good. I think the bread Sticks were the best part. I had bread sticks from other pizza places and never were they this good. I had it delivered and the service was quick and everything was correct. I will be ordering again on my next stay.

I was happy to find a Subway in Morris. I wanted to eat healthier food on my trip. I discovered what a "chop salad" is -- I prefer salads that are not so blended together, like Subway used to have.
