Clean and comfortable. Noise level not great. Can hear other guests in their rooms. While very clean, property isn't being maintained, pool and hot tub out of service, worn areas, broken tiles in bathroom, caulk needing to be replaced, carpet worn. Price point way too high for a location with non functioning amenities.

An American Classic Motel located on historic Route 66 on the east end of Moriarty. Owned and operated by the same family that constructed the motel in the 50's and 60's. You'll enjoy the nostalgia of the original solid oak furnishings and decor as well as the more modern conveniences, such as coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators and FREE wifi.
The place was as advertised. I stayed 3 nights. Staff was very friendly. I was given a breakfast to go for the next morning...yummy muffins. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the vintage feel of it. The bed pillows were great! I expected it to be noisy because it is on Rte 66 but it was very quiet

The place was clean, the internet worked, and the staff was pleasant. Otherwise a total hell-hole. Room was tiny, overpriced at about 125 including tax, and poorly lit. The furnishings had seen better days. The walls were paper thin and I couId hear the neighbors breathe. My room window opened on to the inside of a storage closet! The bed was horribly soft and poorly made up with drab cheap stuff. My back hurt when I got up after fitful sleep. Further, they apparently think as little of their clientele as I think of their business. The bathroom mirror has a pricelist of what you will be charged if you still anything from the towels to the TV. In short, if you are ever in Moriarity and this place has the last room in town, sleep in your car. I serious believe the positive reviews of this dump are phony and done by the management incognito

First off, this place is now called Rodeway Inn, just so there’s no confusion. Second, I’d originally booked for 2 nights, but checked out after one.....and here’s why..... The title says it all- don’t sit in the chairs in the room.......because when it breaks, and SLINGS YOU OUT INTO THE FLOOR, KNOCKING ALL OF YOUR STUFF ON THE TABLE INTO THE FLOOR WITH YOU, “YOU” WILL be the one expected to pay for it. Not from throwing the chair across the room, making love on the chair, hitting it with a sledgehammer, running over it with a semi truck......no, simply from sitting on it, and it not able to support the weight, I guess. Needless to say, when I refused to pay, the front desk lady threatened to call the police, which I was more than happy to have her proceed. Police came out, and only because the Moriarty Police Department officer was a class act, I decided to pay for half the chair to avoid the hassle. I started to force it to small claims court. Wish I had, because not only would it have been tossed out, but it woulda been standing on principle, not to mention how the tables woulda been reversed had I been injured from that chair breaking. But sometimes, it’s just not worth it. Sad part is, I was the one that let her know about the chair breaking, and slinging me into the floor, so she could replace it, and make sure none of the others might be damaged or something. Coulda just checked out, and said nothing. Probably should have. Believe me, that chair wasn’t my only complaint, however. Pillows were lumpier than my now deceased mothers’ famous gravel dumplings, toilet seat was loose, and the bathroom sink leaked water on my foot the entire time I was shaving. If you’re needing a place to stay in Moriarty, I CANNOT stress enough to avoid this place like the plague. I’d literally sleep in a tent first.

At ckin Bailey was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, shower had good water pressure, bed was a little firm. This is an older motel and shows its age but we were very satisfied with our room at the price point we paid. Ate at chili hills restaurant next door to restaurant, which was very convenient. It was like a hometown restaurant where locals go. The food was good, live music, the gentleman was good and made it a nice atmosphere.

Room was clean however most amenities were missing, no place to hang your clothes, no hair dryer, no luggage rack. Only two lumpy pillows and it was VERY noisy, lots of truck traffic next to our room.
