I frequent Black Bear, and we usually get one of the set menu items and one of the weekly specials. The weekly specials are usually locally sourced and very interesting. Good beer selection and live music on Friday evenings. I am always happy with the specials and usually get other menu items over rice. Also, really good homemade garlic chili sauce.

Really good Caesar salad but the shrimp, red onion, pineapple sriracha pizza is amazing. Service is friendly and attentive. Manager visited the table to check in. Comfortable dining room and bar area.

Tin 202 is Morgantown's premier craft cocktail and tapas bar. We honor history and tradition by using fresh, local ingredients while also innovating on classic recipes. We are committed to the highest quality of service, cocktails, and food.
This has a very nice bar with good mixed drinks and a moderate wine list. It is loud and not what I would call Fine Dining. The seating arrangements are more like a diner. The food was unusual and good. Especially the duck appetizer. Your trouble in Morgantown is finding alternatives, so I welcome this restaurant.

The Iron Horse Tavern specializes in West Virginia craft beer, specialty cocktails, house infusions & unique pub fare.
Came here for the burgers and the beer, and we were not disappointed. Business was slow, but it looked like a place you'd want to be when it was hoppin' too. My wife's first burger came out wrong (mayo instead of mustard), and our waiter fixed it quickly and pleasantly. I enjoyed the Iron Horse Burger and mac 'n' cheese, as well as the selection of WV craft beer, and wife did the same with her burger and fries.

We enjoyed the beer and the food (loaded baked potato flatbread, Miner's Daughter Brat with the cheese). There was nothing wrong with the service, but nothing about it stuck out either. Could have just been one of those things.
Bottom line - if we're ever in town again, we'll go back.

We are locally owned and operated. New Ownership was established March 31, 2016. We strive to make the best fresh meal to serve to our guests. We source our meats and produce from local farmers throughout West Virginia and Pennsylvania. WE ARE WV REAL BARBQUE!!
A bit slow on food coming out, but worth the wait and sitting at the intersection where this is located. Super awesome servers and vibe, great for business luncheons.

The food was very good! They drizzle the sriracha sauce on top of the fries. The drinks were a little pricey, but well prepared. The server was very attentive. I bought the angel food cake dessert to take home. It too was really good with the icing on top and they included the ice creme.

Lunch at Ogawa was delicious and everyone enjoyed their choice.. Bento boxes were delicious and the sushi fresh. Udon noodles in broth were also excellent and flavorful. This is a busy lunch restaurant but service was efficient and friendly. Great value. Recommended!

We recently visited Morgantown and Cheddar's was close to our hotel. We were seated immediately and our waitress, also the bartender, couldn't have been more pleasant. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie (my Cheddar's go-to every time) and it was delicious along with that croissant with honey butter.......yum!! Hubby ordered Fried Chicken and gulped down every last bite. We will definitely be back.

Arrived on a Thursday afternoon at 12:30 with the plan being this was a lunch stop. The parking lot was completely full and the adjoining lots spaces were MARKED parking for visiting their specific business. Eventually found a spot 2 blocks away along the river. On the walk to restaurant we were concerned if we would be seated since the lot was full. Once inside there was a total of 3 customers ! When we asked why the lot was full and few customers our waitress said "Oh, the students park there and spend the day on campus". She said Management is aware but not concerned about it. Oh well, we felt our convenience was not important.
The sandwiches we ordered were good and craft beer options many.
