Ostrava (Polish: Ostrawa, German: Ostrau or Mährisch Ostrau) is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic and is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is 15 km (9 mi) from the border with Poland, at the meeting point of four rivers: the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina. Neat, stylish restaurant in a spirit of 30ties of last century. Together wit world cuisine, great service and good wines you will experience exceptional moments... Buena Vista Restaurant team.
We consider this restaurant to be one of the best in Ostrava. All the served meals looked great and were delicious. Also we have to mention that the service is excellent too. The restaurant has variety offer of rums, cognacs and wines. It's 4star hotel restaurant so you should expect higher prices for Ostrava.

Fresh food, great coffee.
If you're looking for a good place to eat a breakfast in Ostrava, A cafe is a "must be". Dishes are hot, fresh. Coffee was very well prepared - we ordered an Americano and it was very good. We highly recommend eggs for breakfast or omelette.

I really had looked forward to visited this restaurant. We went on Sunday´s afternoon. Restaurant was empty except for 2 tables. Waiter came in quite a short time. We ordered drinks and starters. After 15 minutes we got drinks than starters. Until now was everything good. When we had finished starters nobody came for long time, about 45minutes. The restaurant was still empty.Than had came waiter and we ordered main meals, steak rar and steak´s chips and tartar steak and toasts.Steak was prepare medium, toasts and chips were burnt and cloves of garlic were carious (on photo). We complained but waiter said only I´m sorry. We were realy disappointed from the food. No local I hope that a cooker had only bad afternoon and it´s not standard.

The food is superb. I had squid-ink pasta and grilled duck, both were beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. Good, attentive service is leisurely, meant to be a long enjoyable evening with friends. Extensive wine list with excellent choices and proper decanting and presentation of the cork. This place exudes class but is very unpretentious. When you're done with the meal, save room for dessert. The caramel cheesecake is to die for. Since I am neither a caramel nor cheesecake fan, saying how good this dessert is means that it's really incredible.

This place has a lovely, light contemporary dining area. The friendly waiter took the trouble to sit down with us and go through the Czech only menu in English. The burgers we ate were absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended.
