Czech cousine is not my favourite one. However from time to time I have a need to go there, eat something Czech and drink Czech beer. Maybe it is beer which attracts me:) This restaurant has typical climate and food. All was tasty, soups delicious. Service was kind. I recommend this place!
The most popular cafe 2014 and 2015 in Opava! Offers breakfast menu and the best Ollies cakes, panna cotta, fresh, homemade iced tea, coffee, wine, beer. You can use the terrace with a children's playground.
Visited this café many times but can't say that I'm overly impressed by the overall experience. Building is superb and the furnishing also is superb, coffee excellent, service good. On the negative side for me personally the café seems to be a meeting place for mums and their young children, so if you want a quiet chat with a friend I should find someplace else. In summer this is even worse due to the café providing play equipment on the beautiful terrace. So depending on your circumstances this could be a good choice.

KromÄ klasického menu nabÃzà každý den babiÄÄiny stálice-úžasnou svÃÄkovou, guláš, ÅÃzek, smažený sýr, dále pak tÄstoviny, salát a ryby.
GB: I am really bad, because restaurant U BabiÄky (Near my grandma) have best design in shop center Breda & Weinstein, but food is not good.CZ: Jsem zklamán, protože vypadá designem nejlÃp, ale vaÅà tam hůŠnež u Japonců nebo ÄÃÅanů vedle. (SvÃÄková = 8 knedlÃků a malinký pláteÄek masa)

Modern gastronomy, regional ingredients and unique heritage of coinage. Café Restaurant Mincovna(Mint) in the center of Opava.
Sunny, chilled, smart. Nice service. Delicious food. Garlic soup with ham and smoked cheese followed by Silesian cutlet and 'broken' buttery potatoes from the prix fixe weekly menu. Great value. Surprisingly good. If your in Opava - a lovely relaxed and lovely town.

Suprising hidden gem in back street. Inside interiror is very dark and you can smell fire and smoke when entering. Its because the first part is smoking part and it also contains "chimney - grill" where meats are prepared in front of your eyes. There is also non smoking part in the back. Menu is rich and contains a lot of czech traditionals meals, also some steaks and fish. Service is quiet fast but usualy they dont see you because design of restourants so they should walk a lot to check if you dont miss something. Meals are really good for that price. You can pay by card.

Restaurace s minipivovarem nabÃzà k dobrému pivu kvalitnà regionálnà i mezinárodnà kuchyni.
They brew their own beer, that's most important reason why you should visit.Beer is great, food as well. Go with spare ribs or something lighter like hermelin.Staff is very warm and helpful. And the best thing - you can buy their beer in PET bottles to go.

Being curious about this restaurant after hearing a lot of positive opinions, we decided to visit Pansky mlyn with my wife and her parents. The place itself is charming and quite, the owners have likely a lot of plans for future (judging by several facilities under contruction). Food was really ok, tasty and for reasonable price, 1* is unfortunately deducted for unconcerned and slow service.

I have visited this place multiple times during my stay in Opava. I have to say, the big advantage is this is a non-smoking facility, which is still nothing common in Czech Republic (as smoking is still allowed inside bars & restaurants). The service was great, pretty warm inside, helpful and attentive staff. Definitely recommending!

The r
We were the three of us, pretty hungry after a day of work.Following the reviews in TripAdvisor we've decided to give it a chance and we weren't disappointed. We've all ordered the 200 g Sirloin steak in several levels of roasting with local beer and salad on the side. The service was good but a little slow, the quality of the food was good not amazing but very tasty. The salad felt a bit small even though it say 300 g in the menu.Great value for your money.BTW, 200 g steak is not enough to a hungry grown up ;-) .
