We had a pleasant group dinner of local dishes. No food was left on the plates. Besides a downstairs dining room and street aside terrace, on the Square, we sat in the courtyard today. Yesterday we sat on the people watching city square terrace. The inside courtyard is covered with grapevines for a nice local feel and provided shade. Great potato wedges to go with the veal and cheese today. Good service and clean toilets.
I had such a good time there. Beatiful environment, great cuisine, very friendly staff. Love the concept and croque madame sandwich was fenomenal!

We love Mikulov and every visit we always stop here for lunch and dinner. The food is outstanding! They have great steak, cooked perfectly. I love their fries! Fish has nice crispy skin and the dipping sauce is unbelievable. Then we had desert from the huge selection in the glass stall, another treat!! We just couldnât stop eating there. And the best among all is the staff, best service, nice positive energy. Dominik was a great waiter along with two other ladies who unfortunately couldnât catch their name thank you. Keep up the good work, hopefully next visit will even better.

I visited this restaurant on June 2013. It´s located not so far from the town centre, aprox. 5 minutes of walk (BUT! in Mukulov everything is less than 5 minutes far from the centre). There are lovely aquariums full of life in the interior, quite new and comfortable furniture and, of course, free wi-fi. Until you ask for anything, it seems well. When I was there, they were expecting a full bus of turists. Everything was done for them and everyone took care about one huge table and prox. 30 chairs around - no turists have had come when I was there. I had to wait for ten minutes for a waiter. I have asked for a meal and had to wait another 15 minutes until they brought me a DIFFERENT one. And waiting again. I drunk my soft drink and had to wait a looooong time for another. Finally, the meal had come. Quality of meal was average. When I was leaving waiter seemed to be suprised I gave him no tip :-)Never again.

The place is a little of the central parts of Mikulov, which keeps it more local. Nice modern design and great views of the Holy hill. The food was perfect (had some pork with fried potatoes). The wine is exceptional! The staff could be more patient, but not bad really!

Normally I would not choose to eat in a hotel restaurant but this had good reviews and my first choice was booked out. The service was very good, the food also pretty good and some very nice local wines available. Lastly the setting was relatively cosy which is not so normal for hotel restaurants.

Having waited over an hour from ordering to first meal coming out we had to keep reminding them we were still waiting for wine/beer which had already been ordered. When a gentlemanâs risotto arrived he said he had ordered it without Parmesan, the waitress more or less called him a liar. I asked for mustard with my steak (a very common condiment) was told in no uncertain terms they did not have mustard or ketchup on the premises. Surly staff, slow service and on paying the bill actually argued with me as to number of beers drunk, because I had to order the same one twice!Luckily the food was excellent

We made a reservation one day ahead and got a 2hour slot what seems fair to me , calling on that short note. The menu was available in 3 languages, two waiters spoke English, one German as well. The menu card offered plenty varieties of local dishes,We had Schnitzel breaded, pork neck grilled, fish, gnocchi, gulyash soup, beeftartare, Turkish coffee, sweet deserts.Everything was fine, I personally didnât like the mayors schnitzel style, it might suit German guests that are used to schnitzel with sauceThe service was very friendlyThe cook was turbo fastWe will love to come every month!Parking lot is 50meters away

On a three-day wine tour through Moravia, our wine tour guide booked us into a charming inn in Mikulov, just around the corner from this restaurant. Because of the proximity to our inn, and because this happens to be the favorite restaurant in town of our wine tour guide, she booked us for dinner here on our first night in town. I can't imagine there could be a better place to dine in Mikulov. It was just terrific. This little locals hang-out was fabulous and the people there couldn't have been nicer. I had Thai curry with chicken (the first time on this trip across Europe that we didn't focus on local fare) and my husband had Duck Confit....both were outstanding. It was very nice to have a break from all the traditional German and Czech dishes we had eaten everywhere else. We highly recommend it here!
