Backstreet is an independent family owned bagel shop, deli and coffee house offering up to 16 types of fresh baked bagels daily. We use them for our famous sandwiches or with one of our 7 flavors of homemade schmears. We also offer a complete specialty coffee menu featuring locally roasted beans. Finish the experience with one of our delicious baked treats.
It's a walk-up counter, I was greeted in a nice manner. We were there for breakfast. Though the menu board was filled with great sounding lunches. I had a poppy seed bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese. It was really really good! I was sorry when I was finished. The atmosphere was really relaxed in a cozy environment. I'll stop there again for breakfast or lunch.

The customer service and food is perfect. The owner usually seats you. I have been here many times. Casual or fancy dress. I have had their lobster, prime rib which is to die for, shrimp, and salmon. Everything is tasty and served hot! They make a killer cadillac too.

The coffee shop was busy, but staff was efficient and accurate - the coffee is rich and the mango scone was something special - though closely followed in deliciousness by the berry version. Thanks people for a quality customer service experience!!

I love that this store has the factory right behind it. And, inside you will find so much more than Russell Stover candies. You will see Whitman's, Pangburn's, Jelly Belly and more.
When you first walk in, you will see candy cases from which you can assemble your own box - including dipped fruits (like fresh strawberries). The nice ladies behind the counter will offer you plenty of samples. They will probably also offer to sign you up for the loyalty card.
Behind them are cases of ice creams. We have relatives who go out of their way to stop here on their travels just for the ice cream.
Then - you will see rows and rows of package chocolates and tubes of jelly beans. I find that I can buy my candies cheaper at my local grocery store when they are on sale. But, you will never find a better selection than here!
The back room is full of bargains - both boo-boos and past holidays. I went crazy here once on some 90% off candy. Not wise. It was too stale to eat.
But - I have plenty of chocoholic friends who do not let that deter them. It is up to you - if you don't mind older candy - you can really go home with a cartful! I am just not a sweet eater to that extent.

We stopped here for lunch. Different kinds of gourmet pizza I think. Very tasty and fun to try different stuff.

I just happened to come across this place coming through Montrose and thought I'd stop in on the way back through town while I was out for work. It's a really nice place and the "French Dip" that I had was spectacular. It's a different take on the French Dip concept with a little Spinach Artichoke dip mixed in. Really delicious! I think this will be my new go-to place to eat in Montrose.

Just in town to go to Telluride and asked hotel staff of favorite restaurants. This was at the top of the list. Good call. Had prime rib which is always a favorite, and this was done perfectly. Good wine selection, and the clam chowder was excellent. Vegetables were cooked correctly, too. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Can’t think of anything I could have asked for better.

I stumbled onto this fairly new coffee shop and have been back several times. Charles personally roasts his coffee in a stunning red enamel roaster. he has the only latte machine on the western slope that adds your logo to the foam and can customize...MoreThank you for your support! We are about service with a smile.

We are in independent restaurant that opened in 1994. We feature unique fresh in-house made soups, salad dressings, salsas, using locally sourced produce, herbs, and some meats. We have an in-house baker that makes our breads and every dessert. Enjoy dining on our outdoor patio in the summer/fall, a separate bar area, separate private dining area for large groups, or our main dining room with fireplace. We also provide off premises catering services.
Great service always! Food is great too! I've had their chicken with gravy, prime rib sandwich, chicken salad, and salmon. Everything is good. If you don't like spices read the description some items do have peppers hot.Thank you Janet! We appreciate the positive feedback and mentioning some of our menu items. The Pistachio Chicken Salad is our customers favorite, and mine too!
