Patrice (Frenchman- owner, chef, waiter, chief cook and bottle-washer), is an extraordinary person and his small restaurant (24 seats - be sure to reserve in advance) serves delicious French cuisine, all with a touch of Jack Daniels. The three-course Menu is a bargain - foie gras and lamb shank were outstanding -even the dessert has Jack Daniels. Patrice is quite the fun character - be prepared to relax and have fun.

Stumbled across the restaurant when walking around one evening. Really glad that we did, great food. Set menu which changes weekly, enjoyed a really great bottle of wine too. Chef came out to explain each course, with a unique way to present the dishes. The outside seating area adds to this unique experience. If you are in Montpellier this is well worth a visit one evening.Dear benjg944,Thank you for sharing your Le Lab experience with us here in TripAdvisor! We are pleased to know that you have enjoyed your culinary discovery with us. Here's another great village restaurant in the Castries-Sommières district beyond Montpellier (after La Forge at Beauleu and Le Patio at Restinclières). At the top of St Geniès-des-Mourgues - with terrace tables out on the tiny square - the youthful Lisanna brings both conviviality and a bit of sophistication to a fine old village. There's great interest on the menu - unusually for a village chef, the young fellow here has worked his way round some pretty smart establishments across France. He's at ease with sea bass, duck, tuna tartar on multi-coloured tomato slices, oeufs parfaits and much else besides. The cuisine is well-mastered and portions on the copious side of ample. Service is friendly. Sitting out on a summer evening and eating well as village life quietly buzzes hither and yon is extraordinarily pleasant. And terrific value for money. Three courses, â¬27, two (enough for most people) â¬22. If you're in the vicinity, or merely quite near it, don't hesitate.

I was taken here by friends with no expectations, to leave having thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Décor is fairly modern, including some of the tableware which catches the eye more than being practical. Waiting staff are very professional and explain dishes and wines. Food beautifully presented and cooked. A bit far from the centre of Montpellier if you don't have your own transport.

With panoramic views of the golf course and an charming atmosphere, the restaurant bar lounge The 360 offers a menu packed with flavours of the South. In the summer, enjoy your meals in the unique natural surroundings outside on the shaded terrace. We have
With no other guests in the restaurant we waited about 15 mins, we went to look inside but the personnel had just vanished. The surroundings are pleasant, nice view over the golf courts, nice lounge music. But unfortunately there it stops. The personnel seemed to be quite occupied with only half of the restaurant being full, overall boring food which did not stop the management to charge an average of 8 euro for a mediocre desert. We've been to many other places that served better food against better prices...

Had the pleasure to eat at Reve du chef lately. It's a little out of the way but well worth it. Tastefully finished small restaurant with excellent food, all local or organic, all choices catered for (vegetarian, meat lovers.....). Will be back!

The four of us went for Dinner to Disini last Saturday. It is the restaurant of the same hotel, set in the quiet village Castries. It is located in the local âgarrigueâ forest and its cicadas, on the border of the village. The restaurant interior is pretty nice with its surprising (for the area) Buddhist theme. We were quickly greeted by the staff and sat our outside table. The food was good and very local. Most products are sourced in the area. The mussels, melon and egg starters were all very good. So were the fish and steaks served as main. The atmosphere was very relaxed during the whole and the cicadas made it a nice moment of holidays. Surely worth a try while in the area.Dear Sir,We thank you for having taken time to communicate your opinion and we are happy that you spent a nice moment in Disini. We also thank you for your compliments about the decoration and the cooking of our establishment. We hope to have the pleasure to receive you again.Best regards,Head Office> Laurent Sauvage

- Ouverture été 2019 dès le 26 Avril pour les 10 ans de L'OMBRETTE : 7 jours sur 7 midi et soir Réservation indispensable Merci
What a relief we found this place in a suburb of Montpellier.Close to the hotel Messane near the railway station, but best to get a taxi. Fantastic welcome from a very engaging owner and all staff were first class. Rustic surroundings, but we were seated in a lovely outdoor area, with seclusion and privacy. We were a large group, and very hungry, and portions were excellent and well cooked. Very much a BBQ vibe, but excellent steaks, lamb and Fish. Wine was superb, and this was the one reasonably priced restaurant we found in the whole area. Very much a locals place, so be sure to book!

We had been driving around village to village looking at property, sites, churches, sceneries and then the hunger called. We stopped in this village called Lunel and I am not into the pretentious and there were a couple of places that gave us the look over so we veered them. Then just as we head towards the church, I hear echoing through the street old french music and we stumble onto this lovely lovely restaurant. It smelt of Caramel, there were lovely flowers and the tables and chairs were perfect for a hot sunny day. The place was everything you dream of sitting in a village drinking wine and eating...well french - sounds unoriginal but it was great! I had Salmon and hubby had the Steak and large portions. The whole affair was delicious as was our wine and then dessert was just as lovely! It was a great lunch and hope one day to go back! The Restaurant is in the old Church and it was part of the Compostela de Camino - the Way of St. James. History, Friendly staff and fantastic food....what more can you ask for in France?
