Had lunch here with some business colleagues. The restaurant looks small from the front but has an upstairs area as well as assorted rooms towards the back, probably part of the original house accommodation. The service was very good and there was a great selection of set menu or standard menu meals. The atmosphere is typical French with many locals using it for their lunch - always a good sign!
Rien à redire sur ce dessert classique revisité, sauf « peut on avoir une autre part »Le choix et la crème sont parfaitJâai vraiment adoré la première version basique avant la version ananas Bravo

I nearly didn't go to the restaurant based purely on gut feel but had to because everything else looked a bit shabby and this was rated the best here. How wrong I was. 3 courses for 18EUR and the food is on the whole excellent. You'd easily pay twice this in a Paris Bistro oir equivalent food. Good options with new choices added daily although some options stayed on there for the 4 days we were there. Hotel room too noisy, hot and dry!? We woke up parched every night. Bizarre. Avoid rooms at the front. There's a church facing the hotel with a very late and very early (automatic) bell ringer. Hotel staff very good but they seem understaffed. Good value at 46EUR a night.

Warm welcome in a cozy place. At midday, treat yourself to a gourmet break by ordering one of the 3 home-made dishes offered each week: salad, salty pie or gratin, mostly organic and local products. We also offer a large selection of tea and pastries. Bru

A delightful little restaurant in rural Montfort sur Meu, just below the church on the road to the railway station. Well appointed and decorated, excellent service with a helpful patron, delicious galletes and crepes accompanied by local cider. Good value for money, grill menu also available. Worth a detour.

Loved the menu; unfortunately they decided not to serve it even though we were there in the hours it's supposed to be available! Instead we were given us a sandwich board of "specials" we had to choose from. One of our group only wanted dessert and asked if could be served when everyone else got the meal. No, even though it wasn't a long cook time dessert and there was no reason it couldn't be served then! The beef special and creme brulee were both very good, however, but horrendous non-service combined with high prices make us strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Cuisine Traditionnelle Française.
Montfort is the sort of sleepy small town where you would generally not expect to find a passionate chef with an amazing, knowledgeable team producing memorable cuisine at mid-range prices. Be prepared for more than one amuse-bouche (four each came with the coffee!). The décor is relaxing and tasteful, the dishes artfully presented, and flavours are often new and exciting. This was our first visit: we hope it will not be our last!

The staff of the creperie "Chez Loic et Compagnie" is hosting you in a warm and comfortable place, next to the Broceliande forest and Tremelin lake. We cook our galettes and crepes with the best locals products. Our menu will change according to the seaso

The mushroom-onion-chorizo galette was square and had a slightly charred flavor but was very good and the cheese raclette was gooey and delightful. We LOVED the Frangipane crepe, though it was sweet even for me so if you don't have a major sweettooth it's not for you. The Host and Hostess owners were very kind and the service was personal and quick. Excellent location for family gatherings, business meals and romance and excellent selection of authentic and lovingly crafted, truly French meals.
