We are a small family-run restaurant that serves up daily, locally caught, fresh fish, lovingly cooked in a friendly ambience near the beautiful beaches of Mal Pais, Costa Rica. We have outdoor shaded patio seating and are open Monday to Friday from 11am
The price is NOT high at all! I mean, the place looks fancy and clean so we almost didnât sit down because we thought the serving was gonna be small... wrong!! The servings are big, the service was really casual and cool, yet attentive. But the flavor: 10/10. My gosh the Sailor Bowl - creamy, toasty, nutty, fishy, just perfectly salty and kinda guilt-free cuz the rice was whole grain...If you are nearby, donât think twice before dropping by and having at least 79 Sailor Bowls on my behalf. And the fish pâte, I give you my word youâre gonna like it.So happy you enjoyed our little restaurant and took the time to wtite those enthousiastic comments!

My family is primarily vegan, so choosing Ylang Ylang was simple. The food was terrific, plentiful and delicious. What also makes the meal are the wonderful staff, people we enjoyed seeing and chatting with (in Espanol as best we could) every meal.Thank you for your review! We are happy to cater to vegan travelers and those with specialty dietary needs. We are glad you enjoyed your meals and our staff! We hope to welcome you back again someday. I was not feeling well and had simple grilled fresh fish. Very good and moist. My hysband had the curry and coconut fish and fell in love with it. We were also greatly entertained by the house kitties. Just like home, I think they knew we were kitty lovers.

Casual dining restaurant with creative and original dishes. Serving the freshest and most affordable fish on the peninsula. We serve both seafood and delicious cuts of other meats. For the vegetarian crowd we also have many options noted on our menu. Loca
This was so good at reasonable prices we kept coming back. The fish dishes are fresh and prepared in a very tasteful manor. The waitress made you feel like you were the most important customer.

iT IS A COZY RESTAURANT WITH A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE WITH A GREAT VARIETY OF OPTIONS IN ITS MENU BETWEEN JAPANESE,COSTARICAN,ITALIAN,ARGENTINE,CHINESE,FUSION FOOD TO SATISFY THE MOST SELECTIVE TASTES IN A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE.
Fusion Mar y Tierra is an authentic restaurant located meters from Cabo Blanco National Park in the Cabuya Province providing visitors with ample parking space. At arrival what strikes you is the authentic nature of the place, settled next to a grazing plot for cows and a dirt road leading to the national park. The second most remarkable feature outside of the food and location is the spotless cleanliness. The kitchen, bathroom and tables were spotless. As the name points too, the menu is varied serving sushi, local Costa Rican fish and meat dishes, pasta and salads. We ordered smoothies that were delicious - the papaya and pineapple where freshly blended with milk from the cows in the plot next door. Having asked for a recommendation we were informed by the very friendly owner that the fish had arrived fresh a few hours ago. The fish filets were perfectly grilled and served with white rice, fresh broccoli and carrots as well as a surprisingly well balanced tangy sauce based on basic ingredients - fish juice, lemon and pepper. The total bill including four smoothies and two main dish dishes was 15,000 colones or the equivalent of 27 U.S dollars. While some places attempt to tackle a varied menu and rarely deliver quality, Fusion Mar y Tierra delivers fresh ingredients with a modern twist in a beautiful rural spacious setting.

A small restaurant in Montezuma, Costa Rica
If youâre ever close or even an hour away, go! Donât even think about the word maybe.... just run and grab a table, watch the butterflies, have an Azul craft beer and eat. We tried about everything and the ohs and ahs at the table were everywhere. From great fish to carnitas on plantains to the piping hot chips it was all perfect.View to die for and if itâs possible, better service. Before or after take the little train to the Montezuma waterfalls and jump. This is what a vacation should be!!!! Thank you all, oh and see you tomorrow!!!!

the service is enough to make for an enjoyable breakfast. happily the food was equal to the service. It has a nice "vibe" for a relaxing breakfast. We ate here three times during our stay in Cabuya. After four weeks of eating like a Tico I broke down and had the Canadian breakfast which was pancakes, eggs and bacon. It was delicious. I highly recommend the Habitat.

I went due to positive reviews on tripadvisor & wasnât disappointed. We had pineapple & mint juices which were lovely, chicken & shrimp rice & 2 glasses of wine. The food was fresh & tastes great. At the end of the night, as 2 females we were worried about walking back into town in the dark as they couldnât get us a taxi. Our waiter was so kind and walked us home when he finished his shift. What a lovely place!

The service at this place is up there with the worst I've ever had. They acted as if you were bothering them, they seemed cross with you for turning up and spending money at their place!I had to go to the counter for a menu and to order (after waiting ten mins for both). Some other people at the place had their order messed up. It wasn't busy.We had the chocolate cake which was good, I had a mango smoothie which was also good.Shame the service was so bad as the food was great, but I wouldn't go back. Why go somewhere where you're not welcomed. There's so many other places that do good food and service.
