I really want to give Choperia Mastra five stars, but my experience with their beer has been too inconsistent. Some varieties are spot on in complexity and flavor and some are so far off I wondered if the keg or tap was mislabeled.All things considered, this is great stop if you visit the Mercado Agricola and you like to try new beer. At $5/pint, I recommend asking for a sample or only ordering a half pint to start out in case the flavor is not what you expected.

Good pizza, quesadillas (which are made more like large empanadas), breakfast, and of course drinks at the bar. Reasonably priced, friendly service. It was a convenient restaurant for us to visit. Probably the best place you can go to for beer in Montevideo - sit outside at a barrel or inside of this micro-brewery and try the selection of draught and bottled beers. They also serve excellent tapas and other food (chivitos included) and have some choices (Eton Mess, for example) that you won't find elsewhere in this city. Highly recommended
