This is the place for a good variety of items to choice from. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy there. Great sandwiches, wings, salads, appetizers along with a full service bar. The sandwiches are very good (burgers, a chicken parm, and philly cheese steak) and generously prepared, My wife, enjoyed the J. Lowery Pasta (with a white cream sauce) and shrimp. I had the Tuesday night Hot Buffalo wings, with fried onion strings (these are outstanding and plentiful). I also, recommend the Fried Green Tomato Chips appetizer. It is a serving basket full, plenty for 3 - 4, or 2 really hungry souls.

This place knows Country Good Food. My boyfriend was looking for a good burger and friend recommended this cafe. HE LOVED IT. I had the 3 veggie plate with Fried Tomatoes, Okra, and Onion Rings... The people in that kitchen knows what they are doing. Service was nice and prompt... Can't wait to return and try the wings.

Went here with family and it was packed; for good reason. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and plentiful. Everyone had more than they could finish. Great atmosphere in a laid back southern kinda way! Interesting note was that they had a map of Mexico with a heart over Zapopan (never heard of it let alone new it was a city in Western Mexico.

We stopped in Montevallo en route to a wedding and needed a quick lunch spot and this was in walking distance from our B and B. Our service was really good, chips were hot and fresh. The meat was very well seasoned, kids meals were large portions. Its a small little place but it packs a great punch.

We were on our way home the American Village. We stopped with 5 our our cadets and 3 officers. I expected a lot more of Jack. This place was semi nasty. Lots of flies inside, tables that were not cleaned and not enough staff to man the cash registers. Not even so much as thank you or anything even though we were in full military uniform. The flies bothered me the most, why are they inside the Jacks and that is why I said it was nasty. Food was good, but compared to other jacks this place was nasty, and understaffed.

We turned off of the interstate to avoid traffic and found this gem! The BBQ was fabulous, and the sandwiches were huge! The ladies working there were friendly, as well. It is worth the detour from the interstate!

I eat here often. The food is very good with a LARGE menu. The portions are substantial, the quality is consistently good. The staff is very helpful and have been here long term. The owner/manager is a nice guy and he supports many local charities & events. Great drinks also.

China Garden is a staple in Montevallo and has been in its very small strip center location for a long time. Although the buffet is not expansive, they have a good variety of food to choose from. There are always several chicken and beef dishes, green beans, fried rice, lo mein, soups, etc. The second bar has fruits, nuts, pudding, etc., and a variety of sauces. The food is prepared in small batches and is refreshed frequently. My family really loves the Mongolian Beef. Service is prompt and friendly. You just can't go to Montevallo without visiting "China, China, China" (the student's pet name for China Garden)!

This place opens all day long. They have one cook and two servers so that don't expect fast food when they are busy. However their staff is very friendly.

Never been much of a fan of this place until I worked in the area. The only other delivery option was pizza hut. Yuck! This Dominos has impressed me. The price is a bit more than other places but they have the nicest manager around! If they make a mistake he makes it right! My favorites are the create your own pasta and the parmesan bread bites. Make sure you ask for a little extra garlic on them. For my pasta I usually get alfredo, philly steak, provolone and mushrooms. It's up there with some of the better pasta dishes I've tried anywhere! And the lava cakes. Oh my.. no words! So yummy! Now it's my once a month treat. :)
