Montesilvano (Italian pronunciation: [ˌmontesilˈvaːno]) is a town and comune of the province of Pescara in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The name Montesilvano is apparently derived from the Latin which means woody hill (woods - silva).

This was by far our best dinner in Italy over several years/holidays. I'm not pretending to be a food-critic and so some might share a different opinion. We ordered the menu presented on the leaflet in the lobby (menu avaible from 9/9 til 19/9). exquisitely fresh and tastefull (fish)food like paintings on a plate. we enjoyed 5 courses for a mere 45 €, including a bottle of ice-chilled white wine of respectable quality. a chance not to miss!! Ps: ordering of the menu is more expensive.

My party of six visited mid week and had a wonderful meal. This is a local restaurant located in a road running parallel to the main high street in Montesilvano. The star of the menu is the local speciality--Arrostincini--cubes of grilled lamb on skewers. We tried all three varieties on the menu and they were all delicious. We also tried grilled calves liver, which was cooked to perfection. I woud also recommend the mixed starter platter, which came loaded with a selection of cured hams, vegetables including stuffed aubergines, cheese, olives, crepes wrapped around tomatoes and mozzarella, and two types of quiches. We didn't speak a word of Italian, but the service was friendly and efficient. There was one waitress who took the time to explain the menu to us and we had a lot of laughs over it. This place does fill up quickly so I would recommend making a reservation. Or if you don't speak Italian and happen to be in the area in the evening, I would fully recommend popping in and making a reservation in person. The meal was very good value too. The classic Arrosticini was less than 1 euro each. Our party of six went through nearly 50 skewers--but then again we had two growing teenagers among us.

This place that i know very well, deserve ate least 4 stars because has first of all good prices, that become very good considering the quality for example of the "gelato", the ice cream. I don't eat it, i know i am strange ehehe but i don't, but my friends often go there so i can suggest it.

The original napolitan's pizza, fresh fish, and many different type of beef, black angus, Irland Angus, Fiorentina (cut T-bon) and many many surprise!
It’s a piece of Naples located on Montesilvano’s seaside. Here is possibile to have PIZZA, not just a pizza. The dough was perfect, really high quality ingredients and toppings. The staff was efficient, fast, professional and very kind. My only recommendation, in order to enjoy this incredible experience as much as possible, is to avoid this place during weekends because it’s really really busy, very long queues, shared tables and chaos generally; but as long as you have those beautiful pizzas in front of you, you may be able to forget everything! Highly recommended!

The food here is so good that we went back a second time and would have gone back a third if the restaurant hadn't been closed that day (it is closed on Mondays).
The prices are more than acceptable considering the generous quantity of food and the excellent taste. You can pick about anything on the card and you will never be disappointed.
On our first night we chose one of the menus (20 euros per person, water nd wine included), BUT beware if you take the one with the antipasto and "arrosticini": do not order an additional dish of pasta because it is definitely too much. I have never been served so much food just for an antipasto. They really went all out to give you an insight of typical food from Abruzzo. Top notch!
As for the prices: the arrosticini are 0.70 euros each, water is 1.50 eur, pasta is around 8.00 eur.

New Sporting is a Pizzeria that looks at both the local area and both the Italian excellence. Makes use of raw materials of the highest quality that are the pride of our country and why not also the raids in the raw materials from around the world that are now part of our culinary baggage. Open in Winter from Tuesday to Sunday for dinner. In Summer open for lunch and dinner every day except Monday evening. Reservations recommended.
We booked a couple of day before since the place seems to be full every night.
Nice place, on the beach. The service is ok, but could've been faster.
We order 4 different pizzas and they were really nice but the most expensive one was a delusion (too many flavours that weren't so nice together)
We spent too much just for pizzas but since they were "gourmet " pizzas the overpriced was justified.
