Reviewed By Brian FVery nice upscale hotel. Very commercial/ business atmosphere but all the luxuries you could expect of a high end hotel. Located in zona rosa with diverse restaurant selection. Maybe not the best if you are more interested in seeing a cultural side of Montería, and not close to the park on the Sinú, but within a reasonable taxi distance. Breakfast was included and really, really, really good.

Reviewed By Ultimatefoodie561Normally we would stay in a hotel with a pool. But we didn't exactly have the leisure time like the last time we came to monteria. This time was a quick 2 day trip. I was 100% satisfied.Free coffee and cold water at the front lobby. Believe it or not the room fridge snack prices were only about 500 pesos more that in the store, no big loss. Now the surrounding neighborhood is typical Monteria. Small cafes close by. In fact the place right next door made my family breakfast typical to the region. Eggs cooked with onions and tomatoes. But I got fried eggs exactly the way I like them. Now back to the hotel. The staff was spectacular. Very friendly and helpful in every aspect. Giving us taxi tips. $5000 pesos all over. The bed was soft the water was cold as expected in monteria or any hotel for that matter. The bathroom was rather modern too. Parking was nice with security 24/7 and the lobby is designed well. Now about the nighttime. There is a rumba on the corner of the next block. That blasts raeggeton really loud. So if noise is an issue, don't get the room closet to the front lobby. Get one in the back by the parking garage. Silent all night. TV was a nice flat screen. The AC was ice cold. Room keys were also used for electrical efficiency. No complaints. Good service, will stay again.

Reviewed By Dan2717Cordoba; lots of people in colombia would say that this, isn't the most common choice for tourism; given the fact that some time ago; it used to be a dangerious place to be; however , it turned out to be so nice and clean and everyone was so kind and helpful that It wouldnt be right just ignore the time I spent here. the hotel I stayed, the Monteria Central hotel, was cozy and warm, It was sort of frustrating because most the hotel staff don't speak much english but they can handle some the service was good, most importantly CLEAN, taking into account that Monteria is far from being a metropoly it had its charms and this hotel was one of them. Cheap Clean and good service.

This is a downtown hotel, it looks like it was cleaned, painted and redone recently. Fair price. I shared a room with a friend. The room had two beds. It was small, but cleaned with ensuite bathroom. Wifi worked well and I had a good night sleep. I recommend this place if you have to stay overnight in Monteria. Tip, depending on where you are arriving from, you dont need to take the bus all the way to the bus terminal. It is likely that the bus will drive by the hotel street. There is a bus stop around there.

Reviewed By Don_YoavYou will be surprised for the value you get for this not very expensive room- Grate bed in a spacious room. Everything is very clean . Very helpful staff. What do you need more in Monteria? The only consideration to be taken is the location - well it is in the center of town. it can be grate but don't expect anything interesting around.... Nevertheless, you don't need more than a short taxi ride for most places

Reviewed By OckapImy third time here, since 2012. Monteria has more hotels since I last visit, but Costa Bonita just seems very warm and cozy. The staff , friendly and helpful and they still remember me. I requested the suite, just for more comfort, but the bathrooms still need improvement, too small and no place to put your personal items. The rates are higher now as expected, about $117 per night, but I didn't see major improvements to the rooms, the restaurant or the outside. The food is about the same, typical delicious Monteria food, and the staff is just there to serve and feed you what you request. Overall, I was happy and I will go back even if Monteria has more hotels
