Reviewed By Gino VRoom looked like it had just been renovated. Biggest bed I have ever slept in. Great for a few nights because you can walk everywhere. The river is at the back of the hotel. Quiet village but with lots of options for dinner and drinks. Good breakfast in the morning and friendly staff at reception and in the breakfast room.

This modern apartment complex is located 100 metres from the River Mijares, in the spa village of Montanejos. It offers stylish, air-conditioned apartments with a private balcony and flat-screen TV.The apartments at Apartamentos Campuebla feature tiled floors and contemporary décor. Each one has a kitchen with a ceramic hob and a microwave. Many also have fantastic views of the mountains and the river.Staff at reception can provide information about what to see and do in the Comunitat Valenciana. The surrounding mountains are popular for hiking, cycling, climbing and other outdoor activities. There is a health spa opposite the apartments.The Campuebla complex has good access to the A23 Motorway, which leads to Valencia. The town of Castellón de la Plana is an hours’ drive away, and you can drive to Valencia Airport in around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Reviewed By richardhD9521ULThese apartments are very well situated in the town near to all the amenities. The two bedroom apartment we stayed in was of a good size and exceptionally clean and well maintained. Everything you needed was provided in the apartment,however an electric kettle would have been nice. Staff very friendly- bonus you get a free use of the spa with indoor swimming pool. I can recommend a stay here and would book again. Another bonus with these apartments is that you get free parking place very close by, which is very important as there is very little parking in the town, which gets very congested at weekends.

Spacious, clean and comfortable stay
Reviewed By CharbalaStayed one night in spacious room 311 with its own terrace and bath in bathroom. Very clean. Generous supply of towels. The double bed was comfortable and a second alternative pillow was provided instead of the bolso. Given size of room a bigger bed would be preferred. Sheets and blankets which was good as fairly warm in October. As there is a pub / bar attached to the hotel upon arrival we were able to have a cafe con leche - I really miss the lack of hot drink facilities - so this was a bonus. The staff are charming - it's a family enterprise. They promptly changed a broken light bulb. Free WiFi. We ate tapas at the wonderful El Taverna in adjacent square but the many elderly guests seemed to enjoy their evening meal. The breakfast at 5 euros offers a limited amount of cheese, jamon, toast, cake, jam , orange juice etc. Quite adequate but nothing special. One guest had wine. Multiple cups of coffee are provided. Overall very good value. Lovely to hear birdsong in the morning. In October the place was quiet with the odd banging of door and noise from the metal staircase but nothing disturbing. Very quiet given number if guests. Tucked away are a surprising large salons and dining rooms. There is a lift.

Beautiful views but in need of renovations
Reviewed By Oana-and-VinceWe booked this hotel for two nights. Our room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. Clean but in serious need of renovations. Cracks on the walls, rusty handles in bathroom... Breakfast is simple but good. Very good location and super nice views from our room.

Basic Clean Friendly Hotel
Reviewed By PrudolStayed here one night whilst walking through the area. The hotel is non imposing on a fairly quiet street. The welcome was good. My room at the back of the hotel was quiet, overlooking the valley and hills. The bedroom was well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom modern, lots of towels and hot water for bath or shower. There is a large bar used by locals which gives the place some atmosphere, adjoining it is a large sunny terrace. The upstairs dining room is airy with good views but rather characterless. The waiter very attentive and helpful with the limited set menu.[8euro] The food was ample but of average quality. No complaints. Seems to be aimed at the large number of elderly people staying here to use the nearby thermal baths, which are very popular. So an economical hotel,worth a short stay if touring the mountainous area in a car or if you want to partake of the baths.
