In my two experiences here, Montana Fish Company has lived up to its excellent reputation as purveyors of fine fish, prepared in an elegant and creative way, accompanied by friendly and responsive servers. Having spent time at Uchi in Austin, where Sushi originality is an art, I was surprised to find myself mentally comparing Montana Fish Company with Uchi for originality, freshness, flavor combinations and presentation flair. Without a doubt, this is a treat and Bozeman, one not to be missed for sushi lovers.

My wife and I Were in Bozeman on holiday late October. We had craving for some Japanese cuisine and thought to give Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse a try. The approach to the restaurant is by a shopping centre, easy to find. Upon our entry to the restaurant the host seemed indifferent to our walking in, after a silent pause he walked us to a table and seated us. A review of the menu looked promising, however, viewing other tables meal items being served made it clear this was not anything like I had in Kyoto. We accepted were were in Bozeman and ordered accordingly. There was a clear feeling of tension within the restaurant staff that made our dining here feel more like an imposition than a nice dining experience. The items were ordered came in a timely manner. Nothing stellar, not bad Though. I am guessing we just came on an "off day" for the restaurant. That said, when we return to Bozeman, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse most likely, Will not be a first choice for Japanese cuisine.

This is a small Japanese restaurant on west Main street in Bozeman. The food, service, and atmosphere are great, I have eaten here many times and always left happy. I think the sushi is much better than the other touted sushi restaurant in Bozeman.
Having just recently returned from Japan, our criteria for great Udon was pretty high. Come to find out Watanabe serves fantastic and authentic Udon, right here in Bozeman! It is expensive ( but it is Bozeman), love the atmosphere ,great service, a cup of steaming hot green tea, and excellent Tempura. We ended up going 3 more times in the next 2 weeks. It is now a regular spot for us. Mochi Ice Cream is divine! Go, enjoy a steaming bowl of beef Udon or pork ramen on a cold day and relax!

Daveâs is an excellent sushi restaurant. Their rolls are high quality and very tasty. They have some very good, creative combinations that I havenât seen elsewhere. Numerous seating options, all with pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. Overall, Daveâs rivals some of the best sushi Iâve had in much larger coastal cities; not necessarily the fanciest restaurant , but definitely one of the best for quality and flavor.
