Visited twice over the past week. Pizzas are excellent with a good variety of toppings. Great bases.Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Can be a bit loud - went on a Thursday evening, and it was too noisy to talk across the table. However, good âlocalâ atmosphere.

I open this review with a little background before I go further. I have been patronizing Rosa's in Livingston for over 10+ years. Back in that time period, Rosa's had pizza that really blew away Pizza Hut and others that I had tried. However, as of this latest visit, it now seems that Rosa's has unfortunately gone the way of so many other restaurants. The zeal to deliver excellence fades as profits become the main focus. If you're new to this place, the pizza crust is not thin, nor thick. Somewhere in between and you have no other choice. Not sure if their dough recipe has changed but it seems to be less flavorful now than it used to be. Toppings are now scrimpy too but used to really fill out the pie. The meat toppings they are using are cheap quality and very salty. Worst of all in this visit which was at about 3:30 p.m., the place had just a few young kids running the place. I'm talking high school age. One young man whom I know, waited on me and was very nice and responsive. There was another kid making crusts that I caught sight of, and he must have been a smoker because he was coughing all over the place while kneading the dough and was not using gloves either. As I began to really look around, I noticed that the floors were dirty and the whole place had a kind of dingy feel about it. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed as I have seen so much better come from this place in the past. Ahh...how I wish for the good ole' days. It will be a long time and maybe never that I return for their 16" pizza = $17.00-$25.00...you decide.

The food was quite good - between excellent and very good. The service was friendly but the waitress forgot to bring our drinks until we reminded her when the dinner was served. The outdoor table was nice. Desert was fantastic - chocolate mousse.
Where to eat Cafe food in Livingston: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Well no, it isn't the absolute best pizza you'll ever eat, but I'm glad we took a chance on the Livingston pizza hut a while ago. Happy with that experience, we've made PH our go-to place lately. Food is usually ready in 15 minutes, staff are friendly and good, and I appreciate the choice to have thin crust. Plus, the prices are good.
Great sandwiches available here at Mattâs. Choices of breads, meat and cheeses along with side salads and soup. Highly recommend trying Mattâs Old Fashioned Butcher Shop & Deli!
